I am happy that I have ADT I am new to having a security system in the house! I need to have a Technical Rep come out and answer a few questions about the system operation. It would help me a lot. I was a bit confused a few days after installation when I received an email from the Funding Resolution Department. It took me 2 days and a couple of calls to straighten out the paper work. That was written up by the Technician There also was confusion about the credit I was offered and how it was spent. I would have liked an itemization of how the credit was used. Just to insure that the $1,700 credit that I was offered was used. I do have more of a peace of mind since the installation. I feel more protected.... Just last week a woman a few blocks away was robbed and had her car stolen at gun point in her home, in broad daylight! It’s a scary world at there! I’m happy I have ADT!

Poor Service from technician Matt to say the least. The technician who came to the house was in bad need of training. His name was Matt and he spent more than 4 hrs in our home trying to figure out how to set up our system. He called someone who did manage to come over for a short time and help him out and he was very good. I don't know the other techs name. Being new customers, we were disappointed in the service we received. We also asked some questions about the control pad that was installed and he gave us wrong or incomplete answers. We suggest you train your people much better before they come out to customers homes.

the financial part of my transaction… the financial part of my transaction was not truthful, I spent three times more than I was quoted, I was not happy at all with the way prices was quoted to me and then after instillation , was twice more, I did not like that payments was automatically taken out of my account .. quotes was too high given correct numbers after instillation

Existing vs New System Cost I had an existing by older and non-active ADT system in the house. While I went ahead and got an expensive new system. The service person never really explained the total cost up front for the new system verses the option of repair and re-activation of the older system. frankly after see the new one I question if the older one was better. the total cost was never explained until after it was installed. So the process seemed a bit like a railroad job frankly. The new system seems to meet my need but it was expensive and I'm left wondering if there was a cheaper path for me.

False promises False promises. When we signed up for ADT, and being on a tight budget, we agreed to go with the "minimum" service. However, when the installer arrived, he stated that if we chose that plan we would have to pay several hundreds of dollars for installation fees, so we opted for the costlier service. Furthermore, we were promised a 200 dollar gift card, which after installation that promise changed to a 100 dollar gift card, but still, to this day, have received several bills however no gift card... wonder why?
