GBDon't use Brinks - Deceptive business practices Don't use Brinks! Substandard support. Deceptive business practices. IF you cancel, they require 30 days' notice to cancel. I sent a cancelling letter January then I am being billed January - Feb.! So, if you cancel in January, they will be charge for February as well. They try to offer deals for continued service but while you're thinking about it you will be charged for that month and 30 days ahead. I got locked in a contract for at least 36 mos with me not even using the service. The only reason they contacted me is because I had to change my checking account number then Brinks wasn't getting their payment. Don't get locked in an agreement from a previous owner requiring subscribing to service for months. This should be illegal. CANCEL then renegotiate your own contract. READ your current contract. If new owner inheriting an existing contract - cancel! I shouldn't be held liable for previous contacts. This company is looking like one of those Home Warranty companies where you pay for everything and get nothing! Good Luck!

GBDon't waste your money!! Don't waste your money!!! Not only is the monthly cost high but they don't stand behind their equipment!!! Everything has a cost when it doesn't work. My system is not communicating with the cellular device and when I called they walked me through a procedure to try and get it to communicate but without any results. So they're now telling me that the touch panel would probably have to be replaced?? It's only about a year old!!! And they'd have to send a technician out to set it up at a cost of over $100 plus I could sign up for a service contract at around $20 a month??? What?? This is your equipment and it's not working?? The system appears to still be working as long as my wifi is on, so i'll be using it that way until my contract with them is over. So as soon as my 2yr contract is over with them, I will be canceling ALL services with them and I will search for a reputable company that doesn't try and rake their customers over the coals!!! Lock your doors when they come to your house and ask you to switch over the them!!!

GBWorst customer service ever Worst customer service ever. I had a problem with my sensor I called 4 times to ask for the technician they put me on hold for ever and disconnected my call, after I finally got one technician schedule, I didn't go to work that day to wait for him after all day and he never show up, I called and the first customer service said that they didn't have any technician schedule, after I called for the second time they said oh yes we found you but, the technician decided to cancel. and does it, they never called me back just got disconnected, even today I called to cancelled my service and they disconnected me 2 times. is a terrible service. Be away from them.

GBNot to be confused with the actual… Not to be confused with the actual Brinks, which we did, this Brinks totally upsold their abilities t steal us from ADT. They actually really suck at their job. They destroyed our doorbell, lied about their prices for a selling point, neglected to let us know that for them to come out and fix problems caused by their cheap equipment it costs a minimum of 200 dollars. When we disagreed and said we wanted out. The initial sales person called and bullied my mother and then the company said it would cost us 5000 dollars to break the contract we did not know we had signed.

GBI switched from ADT to Brinks I switched from ADT to Brinks, because I had the worst experience with ADT (a story for another review). The Brinks salesperson Chevon was excellent. He was very professional, kind and took the time to walk through my extensive equipment and contract questions. My only complaint: I was contacted by Brinks after filling out online form on one of their landing pages. I received a call within a few minutes. The only thing that bothered me during the sign up process is the lack of company credentials in the employees email signatures. I did my own due diligence and verified that the people I communicated with actually worked for the company. I work in affiliate marketing, so I am always cautious of online and third-party scams. I would expect a company the size of Brinks to ensure their employees have consistent branded company email signatures set up. It’s an important aspect of building and maintaining brand trust. I’ll update my review in 6 months regarding the equipment and services.
