GBWould give a 1/2 star if possible If I could give a 1/2 star, I would. I had a horrible experience with North Star. When I called to cancel, I was told I was locked into another 18 months after already completing 5 years with such a heartless company. They give you a long contract then do not contact you when your contract is ending. The contract is automatically renewed from a contract signed FIVE years ago. The representative attempted to "drop my rate" yet increase my time. I am leaving this company at the first opportunity. They should lose any lawsuit against them. Extremely horrible customer service. Expensive service. Long contract terms. Worst company I've ever done business with. Stay FAR away!

GBHorrible company Horrible company. Salesmen promise and then installers are incompetent. Alarm did not work after install. Called and no replies. Had another company come in and replace. I trusted talking to owner was good for cancellation. He is shady and poor excuse for a human. I am now stuck in a 42 month contract. Thats OK. I will cost them customers as much a possible. RUN FROM NORTHSTAR AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

GBSo… perhaps an update is needed So… perhaps an update is needed. Northstar is still harassing us!! They originally said it would cost over1,000.00 to void our contract. Then 800.00, then 400.00. We talked to customer service and they agreed to 110.00. Now, they say we will have to go to court to settle.,Their story changes with each representative.,We originally would have fulfilled our contract. Then it broke down filling the house with alarm beeping non stop. After 10 calls to Northstar, we finally dismantled it ourselves, and went with a different company for safety reasons. We are a medically fragile household. One representative is ruder and dumber than next. So, court it is. Proceeds will go to St Jude’s Hospital.

GBNORTHSTAR FRAUD As a retired combat veteran an# cancer survivor, I thought I'd seen it all! This company is a menace ro Capitalism but fair practices. I've request a cancelation of services only to later found out they sold my account ro FORTIVA RETAIL CREDIT.

GBBAD BUSINESS. I agree with R. Leytham! In order to cancel, I have to pay out my contract even after we lost our house to hurricane Harvey. They have no consideration for ANY of their customers...probably because they have been sued by ADT & other security companies. They claimed they were affiliated with ADT. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THESE VULTURES!! They don't even deserve 1 star!
