Lock pin jams and will not engage. I had an initial problem with the light. It did not stay securely in the unit and it did not fit well, making it hard to shut the shelf. The light contact switch also broke loose inside the battery compartment. Next the hinge hardware came loose, so there was a lot of slop in the fit. I could not adjust it. Finally, the lock pin would not engage/disengage, so it became impossible to shut the shelf. I tried realignment, disassembly/reassembly, nothing worked. I think the shelf opened and closed about 5-6 times before it failed.

Shipping was fast Shipping was fast! Product was packaged well,no damage. I was thinking the walnut finnish would be darker. It's definitely pine looking and not at all like the picture on the website. It's on the wall and works fine.
