New to the area and facing a new build project, we stopped at Carpet One because they were open on Saturday. What a lucky move that was! Ben Palter has become a friend and trusted ally. He had local connections that allowed us to find a hardwood craftsperson and other local gems. His humor, knowledge of the products he sells, and wholehearted advocacy for our vision and our needs made him one of our Port Townsend family. He has called us with important information, shared wisdom about choices of tile we were considering and helped us design, plan, and execute a wonderful look for our new house. Buyer beware with Carpet One Buyer beware with Carpet One of Merritt Island Florida for breach of contract and horrible service!! Owner Jeff Kidd refused to provide his service warranty in writing after contract signed and deposit paid. Cancels work days before installation. File complaint with HQ and they provide very little help. After conversations with others, this company does not stand behind their work! Many complaints!! Campbell River Branch: truly awful Campbell River, BC; I won compensation from these people after they did an absolutely appalling job on my flooring. They basically stopped taking my calls when I voiced my concerns so I took legal advice. During my research in setting up the case with the Lawyer, I was staggered at the amount of people who had issues with them - people involved in every aspect of the flooring industry. Avoid.

We recently bought laminate flooring at… We recently bought laminate flooring at Carpet One in Sioux Falls, SD. Janelle was our sales person. We asked a lot of questions - she answered them all in language we could understand. We believe we have the most beautiful kitchen and living room floor. Thanks Janelle! We'll be back.

We went to Carpet One in Kingston NY … We went to Carpet One in Kingston NY. Sales representatives were helpful. We took a picture of floor sample. The delivery of laminate flooring took about 10 business days. When we got it, laminate floor looked darker than picture, so we’re placing in basement office instead. I would suggest to take sample home. The sales representatives did offer some sort of exchange deal but we couldn’t find anything in same color shading match. I would recommend them.
