I rented a unit at $137 monthly, and after only two months received a card in the mail notifying me my rent would be increased to $204 starting the fourth month. A 50% increase. Today online they are offering the same size unit for $151. "Market adjustment", my foot. I'm lucky I had another option for my stuff and moved out before my rent increase. I notified the site office by phone a couple weeks prior and when I showed up to move out they had changed my gate code by switching the last digit, creating a situation where I would have to be there during office hours to talk to someone about entry. I was current in my account so no honest reason to change my gate code. Silly company, you lost a customer. I would have paid the $151 but now you have an empty unit because of your predatory practices and shady dealing (changing my gate code), and a consumer who will tell everyone about it. Personnel were respectful. Site was very clean.

GBi was unable to pay online/unit transferred! but will give them a chance .. i was unable to pay online, and my unit was given away. if I am able to book a satisfactory unit tomorrow, I will change my rating. Right now, i am very frustrated!! their website error should not be my inconvenience. UPDATE: manager of unit gave my unit away the day my payment was due - so not super happy about that! however, she did find a similar unit and got that assigned. I need to go visit it later. but am trusting the area will work similar to the one i had that got assigned to someone else. This manager has overall been very good to work with, and I do know that they are super busy!

GBNick is very customer oriented Nick is very customer oriented! Going through a difficult situation, he was caring, empathetic and worked with me on finding a storage unit to fit my needs asap. You can tell he cares about his job and his customers with the detail he comes to the table with. Definitely recommend storing your items there, as the Customer Service is a huge sale in itself!

Malay answered the phone at the Savannah Abercorn location (Life Storage #25) and was very friendly and explained the process thoroughly and clearly. Crossing my fingers that the rate I got is not a bait and switch like some other storage companies...
