GBHigh rate increases every 3-6 months High rate increases every 3-6 months. My latest rate jumped from $120 to $150 (a month!). Their insurance fee is bogus. From other reviews, they're not going to cover any kind of damage from rats, rain, etc. What's happening here is a trap some companies fall in... when more customers flee from reading the negative reviews, SecurCare raises the rate to maintain their revenue. The people who wrote the negative reviews then feel the effect. However, it's worth it. I hope they raise the rate to $900 a month for a 10x10 and everybody flees, leaving nothing but storage units full of HUNGRY RATS.

GBService is just average Service is just average. Facility is clean, and kept up well. Annual increases are substantial at 10% or more since ownership has changed. Tough to make changes or complain with a full storage. Local staff is pleasant. Several interactions with area manager not so much. I am sure some people struggle with the covid pandemic situation and possible job problems. No offers of help have been forthcoming. Just a notice your rate is going up on your anniversary.

GBFull of tricks. Management at Norcross made an offer to me to straighten out my newest accounts ( total 3) that I was attempting to merge (late November). He said I could “walk from…and not pay” on one unit as long as I paid the in office rate, versus the online special. I accepted. Two weeks or so later, I went to move & my unit had an overlock--without notice. That unit is now going up for auction! I have tried to straighten it out, but the area Manager is no longer responding after our initial conversation when I informed him that I recorded the conversation. They have breached an agreement. They do not value the fact that I have several other units with them. The manager intercepts my efforts to get correspondence to upper management. After the conflict began, Securecare raised the already higher rent versus online by $10 in 60 days of establishing the new (third) account.

GBIt seems to be a common practice for… It seems to be a common practice for storage companies to raise the rent without explanation. It's a hassle to move out over a few dollars, so they get away with it. I retired from a profession that requires honesty and truthfulness, so to me it's disappointing when a business (the management) profits from smarmy practices. Typical unprincipled landlord mindset. They don't care what is thought of them nor appreciate their tenants. Yes, they have legal and tax problems and regulations but that doesn't justify the lack of transparency. They could at least offer some valid reason for rent increase for the sake of understanding by the tenants. Otherwise, may they some day find greater meaning and purpose for their lives as human beings.

GBSecure Self Storage, El Paso TX I have storage in El paso, TX at the Will Ruth location since 2019 and Kim is ALWAYS AWESOME. This place is the best place I've had a storage unit. Kim always makes me feel welcome, even over the phone and is always polite and very very sweet, everyone includingmyslef have some hard times and they always work with you and I've never had a storage facility work with me like that. If your in El Paso and need a storage unit for any size, this place is my #1 recommendation. THIS PLACE IS TRULY AWESOME 10000%!
