If I could give this company less than… If I could give this company less than a star I would. Empire moving used/recommended them for a move from FL to CA. On arrival movers refused to wear masks, required $1300 more for services rendered then delivered after 9 (nine) days past the deadline promised requiring $650 more. They’re shakedown artists. Do NOT use this company. Forgot to mention that goods arrived damaged.

Safebound Lures you in with Low Quote Safebound completely took advantage of my (sharp) 86 year old mother. The sales rep, Luke, reviewed her items and my mother sent a video. His quote had 30 small to medium boxes with NO wardrobe boxes. She had a walk-in and double closet full of clothes. He also told my Mom that soft clothes could remain in her dresser. On moving day the movers told us he absolutely would not move loaded dressers! More boxes, this time purchased from them on moving day. The actual cost was 1.5x’s more than the quote!!!! Repeatedly we were told by Luke and Junior in customer service, “5-7 business days” from pick up for delivery. On day 7, the truck still had not left Florida! The customer service manager refused to believe his team could have said these things to us, yet every call is recorded. Of course, we never heard back regarding confirmation of our conversations! Stay away from Safebound they caused tremendous stress and aggravation right up to delivery day!

When I first spoke with Patrick he… When I first spoke with Patrick he seemed to be a decent nice guy! My problem started when a sub contractor called me and told me that I needed another deposit. So i told them just to use the my CC on file! They than told me No credit card cashier check or cash! I called Safebound and I asked to speak with Patrick some girl in office told me that he wasn't there a (LIE). Another guy claimed to be the top manager under the owner became a big jerk on a Power trip! This peace of crap made my life hell the day that I was supposed be moving! I never in my life been treated like this! He a complete jerk! To me HOGWASH! RUN FOR THE HILLS DO NOT HIRE THIS JERKS! Once you sign and do a deposit it is all over for you!!

MANY BROKEN ITEMS, SQUASHED BOXES. I COULD WRITE A DISSERTATION ABOUT HOW BAD THE EXPERIENCE WAS AND HOW TOTALLY DISHONEST THEY ARE, BUT TAKE HEED, FIND SOMEBODY ELSE. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Update: Look .. they're asking me to take down this review, saying I'm mixing them up with another company in Canada. NOT TRUE. Safebound in West Palm Beach, FL. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE. This is exactly the company we dealt with. AWFUL!
