GBI booked a move through True Blue… I booked a move through True Blue (Texas to NC) and had them do the packing job. I was assured everything would be labeled, not broken, a DIRECT transport, on a COOLED truck, and they were the company that actually does the move (not a broker). All of these statements were not True. They contracted a company from NJ (Movers and Packers) to do the packing and move. My initial BINDING quote was exceeded by $22,000 when the packing was complete. I was forced to pay that amount AFTER they had all of my stuff on the truck and not an inventory sheet in sight dictating what they had and what they actually didn't have. Several items were broken during the move which took over 31 days to get to NC. It was loaded up on several UHAUL trucks and stored in a storage facility in Dallas for over a month. When my items were finally unloaded it was stacked with another persons items - therefore not a direct shipment. I was quoted for 1700 cubic feet after many consultations with True Blue. When the movers came to move my stuff they said I had over 4500 cubic feet. My stuff was unloaded in NC and there was less than 2000 cubic feet. This company is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and did not refund me the difference after they held my stuff and I was forced to pay the EXTRA $22,000. STAY AWAY from True Blue and Movers and Packers!

GBAbsolutely Terrible Experience - Avoid! TLDR: - this is the worst service experience (not just moving!) I've ever been through in my life; I have moved 20+ times, including 5 regional / national moves in the last 8 years (go with a reputable company like Belkin or Allied); this move was a Portland OR to Denver CO move - they will lie to you, over and over; this includes when they will show up for pick-up and drop-off - they will significantly increase the cost when they show up to your house (we paid over 2x original estimate) - they will break and steal your things - they will pack your stuff like a handful of children; the man managing the drop-off said "this is the worst packing I've ever seen in my life" - this is an employee of the company! - I have to imagine most of these positive reviews are fake - I'm not writing this to complain; I'm writing this to save you from the frustration and cost of choosing this company Some highlights: - we were told the pickup was Monday, so I waited on my porch. Then Tuesday, waited on my porch. Then Wednesday, waited on my porch. Then Thursday at 7am, waited on my porch. They showed up at 4pm on the Thursday. My wife and 1 year old travelled ahead of me on the Monday. I had to continually reschedule and cancel hotels (they refunded $150 of what was close to $1,000 of rescheduled travel costs) while my family waited and waited. - they significantly increased the cost when they arrived; this is despite the fact that the quoted cubic footage was exactly the cubic footage of our two regional moves - some packing highlights: they took garment boxes and instead of hanging our clothes (that were already on hangers) they just piled them on top of each other in the boxes; these garment boxes also included lamps and computers(!); they took our art and just shoved them in mirror boxes with no blanket and no wrapping; they stood our dining room table up in the truck with legs out and just piled stuff on it (the legs snapped off); a significant number of items just never showed up; they just piled glassware into boxes with no wrapping! - they significantly increased the cost of storage versus the original quote - I paid for the "platinum package" to include packing and unpacking and was told at drop-off that this, in fact, did not include unpacking Please, do not use this company. You will thank me for it.

GBFirst red flag is cash payment First red flag is cash payment. They do this so you cannot get your money back or file a claim with your credit card company. This company has you sign a contract to allow a 3 day window for pick up so technically you can sit your entirely packed home for 3 days waiting. They state a call will be made within 24 hrs of the move to give you a 3 hr window of time. They NEVER, and we hunted them down until they gave us a window of 5 hrs to which they never showed up. RObin promised me the movers would be here in 2 hours and again never arrived. We spoke with the actual movers (True Blue is a broker which is another red flag. Only work directly with the movers). who said they were never contacted by True Blue in regards to scheduling drivers/movers. So the moving company never gave a window of arrival and True Blue made up arrival times. They also failed to contact us after the no show to give us any update. We called the next day to cancel as of course we could not trust them to take our things, and refused to refund us for services never rendered standing behind their "contract" that they have three days to finish the job even though they lied about arrival time. After we cancelled, we spoke with the actual movers and they said they were never notified of our cancellation so True Blue also did not communicate with their "scheduled" drivers. Either way, if you want any sense of security with your move, DO NOT use True Blue. Only use a company you pay by credit card and work directly with the movers and not a broker.

GBThis company is a scam. Most of the reviews are 4 or 1-star ratings. This company is a scam and so are the 4-star ratings. They never delivered our furniture. We’re looking at legal actions.
