GBStored my things for 2 months and… Stored my things for 2 months and covered and destroyed by mice and rat feces and urine. They built homes in my furniture! Steer very clear! I’ve rented a lot of storage places and never had this happen! They had corn feed stored next door and it spewed over to my unit!!

GBSimply storage in the design district… Simply storage in the design district on slocum rent increased twice within 8 months. I understand an increase may be needed due to economy but also understand the consumer and maybe increase annually and not twice within a year.

PRA very distasteful experience A very distasteful experience. They charged me for the 30 days I could not open my space (Hurricane Maria) and when I left they charged 9 more days because they did not closed the account. I told the manager I was leaving at the end of the month and did not tell me to close the account. Anyway there was nobody there to tell that my space was available. I had to go there many times and no one was there because there was no power and learned the manager was at the Catano storage (other facility). I had to go there many more times since the handyman to open the door of my space was there sometimes mon or wed or tue and thurs without any notice at the door. I learned about the extra charges because I received a collection letter from Federated Collection Bureau (they try to make the impression that are from the federal government) thretening to report this to the credit reporting agencies. There was no contact whatsoever from the storage company when they have my phone number, my email and my address. very bad experience.

GBCompany’s poor customer service If I could do a negative I would. I rented the units in 2018. When I signed the fee was less than $250. Almost immediately I saw the charge go up. My rent by this year is $562.00 a month. The pandemic affected my ability to remove my items sooner. What I was told is that every six months the rent goes up. This is not made clear in the contract. Although the cooperate office voice record says I will get a call back within 24hr that has never happened. Nothing positive I could say about this company, from unanswered calls at all levels to rates going up. Don’t rent from this company.
