Negative stars!! Seriously the worst experience ever. I mean EVER. First, the movers arrived over an hour late and had to move another customer’s items off their truck before loading mine. I was not informed that my items would be moved along with someone else’s. Also, I was told that they would be able to move me in the same day (5 hr move), but due to the other drop off it didn’t arrive until midday the next day. There was no communication along the process, I had to call three people just to find out where the truck was and when to expect my items. The movers were very disorganized and slow. So slow that I had to help them move some of my stuff to speed up the process. I’ve moved several times before with other services and experienced much better service and speed. I would never use this moving service again!!

Kindly stay away! Used them for a move from Austin, TX to Atlanta, GA. Totally disappointed, did not stick on the schedule for pick up, over priced than initial quote, they wouldn't understand basic mathematic mis-calculations for over charging, they promised to take good care of everything but did nothing but just charge me high. They communicated well until they received the initial deposit. & they are just a middleman - they dont have their own truck. They handed the order to Condor moving system & did not bother there after.

So bad services!!!!! COMPLETE SCAM. Worst experience I've ever had with any business. We were told by Ken Jackson we were getting a great rate with this company because they didn't act as brokers in hiring physical movers and that their guys were in-house. Despite showing up a day later than the date scheduled on the contract, the movers shared with us that they couldn't honor the contract because we had more cubic feet than expected.

tom is too busy getting fake reviews… tom is too busy getting fake reviews for his company to actually answer the phone and take responsibility for his salespeople lying to people. better yet the whole company is based on lies.. they make fake reviews, used fake sales tactics (claiming they have trucks in your area already so they can get you a good deal), they lie on their site and when you speak to them about not being movers..they are just a broker. they use scam companies who steal to move you . then they will create a new company to scam from once their current one has a bad reputation.. right now landmark moving and storage is Tom's next company to scam people.

Gateway Express is a scam brokerage… Gateway Express is a scam brokerage firm - with great salesmen and no quality. Jared and CJ are liars who will tell you anything to get you to sign - including sob stories about being Vets. They are a disgrace and not to be trusted. Gateway Express subcontracted our move out to two other companies - One Way Movers and Diamond Movers. We paid a lot of money and were told our furniture would arrive in 5 days. It took 3 weeks and several items were damaged and missing. They packed us in NJ and unloaded our stuff to a warehouse in Baltimore MD for two weeks. From there, they reloaded it to a truck that could barely run and indeed broke down on the way to FL causing more delays. When they finally arrived, the crew apologized but said 'this always happens with Gateway Express and we have to deal with irate customers!' They refused to take anything off the truck until final payment - in cash - was received. They knew from experience there was going to be an issue! Jared 'sold' me the insurance - guaranteeing me his company was so careful - I would never need to use it. I put in a claim for almost $2000 of damaged and missing items - they offered me $120! Several calls to Gateway Express, One Way Movers and the insurance company have all gone unanswered. I am currently working with an attorney to recoup some of my losses. Stay away from this company! i wish I would have done more research before I signed with them! Don't make the same mistake we did!
