From the person who answers the phone … From the person who answers the phone to those who come out and do the work, everyone is super nice. I had them come out to add a water and gas line for new appliances. They were clean, courteous and did a great job. The reason I gave them 3 stars was based mostly on pricing. I spent $1,700 to have them run those 2 lines, then when I called them a couple of days later to come help with an emergency under my sink (not a result of anything they did), I called them at 4pm and they said I'd be charge after hours pricing. This would be $169 for just coming out...then additional from there. When I paid them $1,700 just days prior and called at 4pm. I declined and hired a self employed plumber.

Getting What You Paid For - NOT They sent an email showing a photo of the tech that would be coming to my house, but they sent a different person. The guy that came out did not perform all the services that were to be included as outlined in Angie's List. They were more interested in quoting me a price to replace my plumbing. I had a slow running drain in the bathroom. After their tech was done I was presented with the bill, which I paid. The next morning when I ran water in the sink, it was backing up worse than before the Hope Plumbing tech came. When I called Hope Plumbing, and also sent emails, no response was received. I would NEVER use them again.

Tech was professional and competent Tech was professional and competent. However, initial review centered around selling high end cost replacement of entire shower/tub unit rather than focus on requested repair. Overall cost was extremely high to me .... given the simplicity of the fix.

Canceled the first appointment 3 hours … Canceled the first appointment 3 hours after the window. The next day the technician arrived at my house and spent an hour chatting. He then proposed to snake my basement drain for $469.00! Reluctantly I agreed so I could get the job completed. He then said he didn’t have the proper equipment on his truck so he had to go back to the office and return. I canceled with the company and called another sewer company. They came out and completed the job for $180.00!

Great service Great service, the guy who showed up was honest, straight forward, and helpful, plus did a good job. Only disappointment was they were not able to give me any ball park cost info up front on what I could expect. I know that's hard to do and risky because customers may not describe the full scope of work and it's hard to ball park something over the phone. But the tech was good at listing what they would do and options I had to choose from. But the total did end up higher than I was expecting going in. Shows that it's been several years since I hired a plumber!!
