GBwhaleys service review I have been at cape fear now for about 7 years and throughout this time I have called about Whaley food service to repair different units in out dietary department or I may have had to order some parts and Whaley has always been very good in service and very professional. I would not hesitate to call on Whaley again . I would like to say thanks for always being there for us.

GBDisorganized company and I wasn't impressed with their technicians They sent 4 different technicians out to service my walk-in cooler and they each had a different diagnoses. They wanted to charge for each person's hourly service rate plus whatever equipment they ordered for the job (which wasn't needed). When I called to tell them that I wouldn't pay for their staff's education and equipment that wouldn't be used, the lady who handles the billing said I had a point and to just pay for an agreed upon portion of the service and my bill would be settled. Over the next 4 months I received invoices for a balance, which I was told I didn't have to pay. This lead to me calling them monthly to remind them what they told me. Eventually, I stopped being hassled. 2 stars because the fourth guy did eventually fix the cooler.

As for the service provided to MARTA, the repairs were completed satisfactorily, except that 1. Whaley Foodservice could not give me a scheduled date/time for the service. 2. I received no advanced notification of the repair technician's arrival to evaluate the machine. 3. The time between evaluation and repair was far too long and too expensive - purchasing a new brewer would have been more cost effective and timely.. 4. I received no advanced notification of the repair technician's arrival to complete the repair. Whaley Foodservice should, based on the equipment model, be able to inform the customer on the availability of pares and provide the customer with a time-frame for the repair.

GBThis company is awful This company is awful. Called them out to fix a freezer and they charged me close to $1000 and it did not work. They fixed it three times (and charged each time they came out) and my product was ruined. Ended up having to threaten to sue them to get there insurance company information. Called out another company and the repair guy said that everything Whaley did was wrong and a waste of money He said the condenser was toast and could not hold a charge. He recommended trashing the freezer and did not charge me for a service call. Whaley stopped taking our calls.

GBExpensive BUT worth it because the job is done right! As a business owner, having downtime is not good! Whaley makes sure things get done and the right way. Pricing is much higher than the average but it beats paying someone doing half of the job for half of the price. I only use Whaley because I know it gets done correctly. Also, Gina is my favorite.
