GBBEWARE BEWARE Avoid this company! The book I received was in very poor condition, not at all as described. When I wrote to them asking to exchange for a better copy they wrote back saying they had refunded my order. However I never received a refund. When I contacted them, always the same reply « order refunded » but not a penny had been refunded in my bank account. I wonder if they say that hoping people don’t actually check their accounts. That way they have sent a book in bad condition and then pretended to refund when they actually haven’t. Really unhappy with the experience!

GBNo Book, No Email, Needed Refund No confirmation email after order on 4th of April submitted via the Greener Books website. None of the 3 books ordered were received. On messaging they claimed an order confirmation email had been sent (none received even in my junk mail). They also stated that the parcel could not be located on their end and that it should have been received by now. The actual replies when contacting customer services were prompt and the refund was too so 2 stars rather than 1. I have concerns though that the company is linked to BritBooks (the refund came via them) which concerns me as I had similar issues with BritBooks. A search online seems to suggest the owners are similar between these two companies as well. Overall I wouldn't buy from their website if you want to receive a book.

GBExtremely impressed - excellent service Just received a pre-owned book from this great company. It arrived promptly and was in better condition than I expected. Considering it was a large and heavy book - and was very reasonably priced - I really don’t know how they can supply them post free. Extremely impressed, and will definitely use again.

Waited patiently as also so late from the original delivery date from you😞The book’s in a poor grubby condition & I can’t enjoy reading it. I understand it’s 2nd hand & never had such a poor service.

GBBook did not arrive Book did not arrive. Supposedly shipped but no tracking information sent and now a month since ordering. Unless it’s coming from the moon, my guesses are that it wasn’t shipped in the first place. Where do all of these lost books end up? Raised a refund request with Abe Books, company did respond promptly and issued a refund but money not visible on my account - yet....
