This company is TRASH This company is TRASH. I ordered a textbook, I waited 26 days. They NEVER sent any shipping information and never shipped my book. I contacted the company and a "Justin K." responded with a weak apology saying they would refund me. I NEVER GOT A REFUND. I'm tired of dealing with this horrible company. This company is a scam. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Even their comments on reviews of their shady business are lies trying to discredit the jaded buyers who were cheated and lied to by this company.

I mean, I guess? I received the book in ok condition. It was just wrapped in plastic so the edges were a bit munched on. Otherwise fine. Their shipping sucks; very anxiety producing. It took a whole 13 days for me to receive it, from the day I ordered it. So if you're pressed for time, this isn't your place. After being unable to track my package, I contacted them about it & they were nice. If you take into consideration the price that you're paying (average of $20?), the service is fair.

Bad Experience I never received a shipping confirmation for my book. The book did arrive; however, it was completely different from the original book, despite the website saying the content would be the same. The company is very hard to get in contact with. Emailing them takes quite a while to get a response and their phone number is not real. Also they have a 14 day money back guarantee; however, customers must pay for return shipping. Waste of time. Do not buy books from here.

Excellent service I ordered a textbook for my daughter at 1/3 price it was from Amazon. I got extremely worried when I read the negative online reviews... I hadn't looked before I placed my order. I sent them an email requesting the tracking number and expressing my concerns. I received a prompt and friendly reply, including the tracking number. I paid for 2 day shipping and received the book in 3 business days (there was a weekend involved). Book was in excellent condition... it was the correct book with no issues of any kind. This was my only experience with Alto Books, but it was excellent.

You get what you pay for Shipping for the book took a few days longer than what I paid for. The packaging was not very good quality, but the book is the correct book and for what I paid for it it seems like a good deal. It would be better if it shipped in time and if tracking information was available. A tracking number was provided, however I was only given information when it was a day out and before that had no idea how long it would take or where the package was.
