GBJust avoid. Booking went smoothly but took nearly half an hour at the Premier Inn check in desk (who were patient, persistent and overall brilliant) to work out all the procrastinated steps egencia has placed in our way to so much as check in. The meal/breakfast voucher was then declined so will have to claim back through expenses. I just hope I don't get a parking fine in the post if that "pre-authorised" charge gets rejected!

DEFor all bookings you need to follow-up… For all bookings you need to follow-up to ensure that they are approved as you do not get any alerts from Egencia about outstanding approvals. The phone helpline is a disaster with up to 35 min in waiting line. In addition on their hotel website for business travel they list hostels that are fit for backpackers. Overall it is not a good business travel site, if you can find a small corporate travel agency where you can have face-to-face contact as Egencia is not yet up to scratch

GBEgencia never paid the hotel and stole my money Egencia never paid the hotel. They reserved the room but I had to pay out of pocket. This was after I paid Egencia for 2 nights. I have now paid for the room 2 times. I have been fighting with this company for my money back for a month now. They first bles the hotel. Then they blamed my bank now its tech support. They have told me 4 times they have refunded me but I still don't have money back. My company's legal team is now getting involved. Egencia is a nightmare and have stolen my money.

GBGOD AWFUL Manila-Based call center with… GOD AWFUL Manila-Based call center with the dumbest people they can find. I booked a ticket through their service this afternoon, and it never got put into the system. They have taken outsourcing / offshoring to a new low. The purchase by American Express seems to have pushed them even further down. Bottom line: If you book flights online and never have an issue, Egencia will suffice. IF, for some reason, you need a representative, hang up until you get someone in the USA. However, that's getting harder to do also - I called six times, and it was always the Philippines.

SEIncredibly lousy travel agent! Incredibly lousy travel agent! The company I work for had the bad taste to choose Egencia for all the bookings of the company’s business trips. Never ever has Egencia been able to provide an accurate voucher for the booked hotels. We always end up having to pay at the hotel. That also includes car rentals. Everyone I talk to who have been using Egencia say the same. I wish my company could switch to another travel agent.
