Very unsatisfactory Very unsatisfactory, booked long-haul flights to Japan from UK in early June and 2 weeks prior to the journey have an email saying flights not ticketed and they cannot give a reason why, but wish to charge 3x the original price as have to book fresh tickets! Customer service were not apologetic. Avoid if you can!

Terrible Experience - False Advertising and Poor Customer Service Booked a Bed and Breakfast through Egencia, expecting a fulfilling breakfast. However, no breakfast was included upon arrival, confirmed by the reception. Contacted customer service but received no satisfactory resolution after nearly an hour on the phone. Disappointed and hungry, with no empathy or assistance from Egencia. Overall, a profoundly disappointing experience. Avoid Egencia if you value honesty and reliable customer service.

Pay for flexible tariff and get a saver instead Our company uses Egencia as a corporate booking tool - so I cannot avoid using it for business trips. Our corporate policy is not to book the cheapest, non-refundable flight options (acknowledging plans can change). So I followed and booked for my flight the more pricey options with flexibility. I was quite happy about it - because the flex tarif enables you to choose seat for free and have more luggage etc. But guess what, by the time I wanted to use these perks, I found out that despite paying the higher prices, it was still the saver option that got booked with the airline! So tariff that did not even allow to pay for a seat selection and has a massive surcharge for extra luggage. I feel scammed by this approach.

Rude and worthless communication Once again I've received a remarkably short and quite rude answer to a request for assistance with my booking, stating only "You need to contact your Egencia sales contact.", without any further specification of where or how I might find this person or team. I'm an employee of a larger corporation and have made a flight booking via the web tool. I have no contact details to any sales contact and I definitely don't have the time to chase this information from the customer service. Again. Last time this happened I spent at least 5 hours just trying to chase the right person who could provide information, and ended up giving up. Because no one at Egencia could actually find the information I was looking for. Shape up Egencia! This is another example of the non-existing customer service you are providing.

For all bookings you need to follow-up… For all bookings you need to follow-up to ensure that they are approved as you do not get any alerts from Egencia about outstanding approvals. The phone helpline is a disaster with up to 35 min in waiting line. In addition on their hotel website for business travel they list hostels that are fit for backpackers. Overall it is not a good business travel site, if you can find a small corporate travel agency where you can have face-to-face contact as Egencia is not yet up to scratch
