GBGood help from caring professionals So far, we've only used Pawp as a step to help decide whether to take our pet to the vet first or try home remedies first. The professionals I have "talked" to ask clarifying questions and give some education on the condition and/or what might be causing it. So far, I've been able to avoid two costly trips to the vet's office.

GBMy German shepherd had a emergency ER… My German shepherd had a emergency ER visit. I contacted Pawp and was told to take her to ER which I did ...too long of a story. But long story short I purchased this for we travel and wanted some insurance if something like this happen. But when I tried to get reimbursed for the ER visit I had to jump thru hoops ...I paid for emergency insurance!!!! I debated with them for awhile and was still turned down because I did not let them keep my dog overnight! They said I turned down the vet recommendations...which I took all the meds and the diet change but I was not going to let them keep my dog in strange city and not my vet. Just find another insurance for your pet other than Pawp!!!

GBOne of the few monthlies I am glad to have The vet answered our chat request in less than a minute and immediately invited us to video chat when I explained the situation. She then told us to get our dog to the vet and that she would activate our fund. The call lasted less than 5 minutes. Our pup ended up being hospitalized for about 36 hours and PAWP helped us cover about 80% of the cost. We were approved in 3 business days and I initiated an ACH deposit for easier payment to the emergency vet. This service is well worth the monthly payment and we will be continuing to stay with them.

GBSaved us from an expensive vet bill My dog was bleeding near the eye and it looked like a cut. It was about 7pm and vets were closed, only emergency hospitals were open so it would’ve been expensive to visit and many put us on hold. I remember I had the Pawp subscription. I waited about two minutes for someone to help. I sent a picture and the doctor was responsive and helpful. Turned out it was a pimple that was forming for a while and I remembered my dog was scratching near his ear which the pustule was right next to. Definitely had calm some nerves. We picked up the medication needed and keeping an eye on it for a few days. Recommended app for efficient vet recommendations and saved us from spending few hundred dollars that turned out to be not an emergency.

GBSCAM!! SCAM!!! DO NOT USE!!! I bought this insurance after my dog had an emergency and we had to spend thousands out of our pocket. After paying for 3 years, my dog had another emergency after his appetite rapidly declined over a couple of weeks. He was diagnosed with spleen cancer and passed away. I followed everything they said, down to having an online video chat with their vet and seeking emergency treatment as advised by their vet. They rejected my claim saying that I didn't seek treatment soon enough and referred me to their policy which is very vague and states that the issues that are not covered is not exhaustive.. which means they can basically say whatever they want to reject a claim.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$ ON PAWP!!! Update: I sent an email to them three days ago to the email address they included in their response for them to review my claim but I have not heard back, not even an acknowledgment that they have received my appeal.. I also just received an email from Trustpilot which I will quote: "Pawp would love to understand your experience better, so they’ve asked for more details about your review—like an order number or email. If we don’t hear from you within 3 days, your review may be taken offline." So I have submitted by email address and phone number to verify that this is my genuine experience and review. I am waiting to see if they are going to respond...
