My German shepherd had a emergency ER… My German shepherd had a emergency ER visit. I contacted Pawp and was told to take her to ER which I did ...too long of a story. But long story short I purchased this for we travel and wanted some insurance if something like this happen. But when I tried to get reimbursed for the ER visit I had to jump thru hoops ...I paid for emergency insurance!!!! I debated with them for awhile and was still turned down because I did not let them keep my dog overnight! They said I turned down the vet recommendations...which I took all the meds and the diet change but I was not going to let them keep my dog in strange city and not my vet. Just find another insurance for your pet other than Pawp!!!

SCAM!! SCAM!!! DO NOT USE!!! I bought this insurance after my dog had an emergency and we had to spend thousands out of our pocket. After paying for 3 years, my dog had another emergency after his appetite rapidly declined over a couple of weeks. He was diagnosed with spleen cancer and passed away. I followed everything they said, down to having an online video chat with their vet and seeking emergency treatment as advised by their vet. They rejected my claim saying that I didn't seek treatment soon enough and referred me to their policy which is very vague and states that the issues that are not covered is not exhaustive.. which means they can basically say whatever they want to reject a claim.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$ ON PAWP!!! Update: I sent an email to them three days ago to the email address they included in their response for them to review my claim but I have not heard back, not even an acknowledgment that they have received my appeal.. I also just received an email from Trustpilot which I will quote: "Pawp would love to understand your experience better, so they’ve asked for more details about your review—like an order number or email. If we don’t hear from you within 3 days, your review may be taken offline." So I have submitted by email address and phone number to verify that this is my genuine experience and review. I am waiting to see if they are going to respond...

DO NOT USE THEM DO NOT USE THEM. I recently adopted an adorable little mixed Pom and signed up for Pawp after research (admittedly I should have put more time into this), and when Chucky got hurt from a sprained leg playing in the dog park, Pawp did everything they can find a reason to not cover him. I paid for insurance for these type of exact accidental injuries, so now I’m fighting to get Chucky’s medical reimbursed and wasting weeks with their representative. LOOK INTO NATIONWIDE instead, my parents use them and they never had an issue.

Scam artist My dog Daise had a lot of blood in her urine she was in pain and we took her to emergency they did a bunch of tests and it cost $2,000 the vet said good thing you brought her in it was 11pm I submitted the claim to Pawp and their r own vet said good thing we took her in when she saw how much blood was in her urine. Pawp declined my claim saying it is outside their policy. What a joke been paying premiums for over 3 years and this is what they do Look elsewhere for emergency pet insurance. Update I have tried reaching out to support but no answers, They do not have a phone number that works either. I do plan on filing a report to the AG and BBB.

Hallie was amazing! Hallie was amazing. Very quick response considering I reached out past midnight. She was patient, took the time to ask questions about my pet's condition, to Google conversion of how much chocolate per lb of weight is toxic etc. Hallie answered all my questions and helped me feel more assured.
