Easy to use and great customer service This site made my life so much easier this year! I used a different product last year but ran into a couple problems and unfortunately couldn’t get much help from their support. After switching I was able to refill my previous years taxes with the correct numbers

locks up when updating holdings So many issues with using this software; every time I make entries and import new wallets, the platform takes FOREVER to update holdings. It is almost like the platform locks up every time I try to update holdings. I have had to message support at least 5 separate times to get them to release my holdings manually.

Solid crypto tax software It's a good program but there is a learning curve if you have many trades across multiple exchanges. I'm sure it's real easy if you don't have a lot of trades. The tech support and instructions for exporting data from different exchanges are excellent.

Your connection to Kraken is kaput Your connection to Kraken is disfunctional, both via API(?) connection and by download and reading of .csv file. Authentification failed in attempted connection via API or whatever it is. Then I downloaded my ledger .csv, as you specify, and your system declined to process the file, reporting several thousand entries are errors. No error was apparent on inspection, but what do I know, so I repeated the process -- meticulously -- with the same failed result and exactly the same number of asserted errors. I gave up on ZenLedger at that point and sent raw data to my accountant - from all sources. It'll cost me a bunch, but at least I'll get my taxes done on time. I won't be back next year. And by the way, you gave me a powerful incentive to write this review. At least I can confirm it's based on a genuine experience.

I had over 150 crypto transactions… I had over 150 crypto transactions across 3 exchanges, with margin use. After trying 3 competitors this was the one that successfully imported and linked them all. Robinhood was more difficult but I eventually had them manually imported into their provided spreadsheet. It was extremely easy to export the tax forms and then import into TurboTax as well! The only odd part was when there were exchange transfer fees and it didn't match up the export to the import but it all worked fine in the end. Spendy, but great product! Saved me lots of time and didn't need to go to a CPA.
