Reporting hours is incredibly simple, tax filing is done for you throughout the year, and it makes the lives of busy professionals who are also busy parents juggling childcare so much easier. I’ve made this recommendation to multiple to friends and neighbors. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

Speaking to a human is great Speaking to a human is great. But more often than not, the human tells you something s/he is reading from company policy and every nickel and dime that surfaces they try to pass on to the customer - even if the mistake was not on the part of the customer. Extra charges, lots of red tape, once my nanny is no longer with us, I will happily not use HWS ever again. I would recommend HWS to those who are ultra lazy or not numbers savvy who have cash to spare, which in this economy right now may not be anyone anymore...

Homework Solutions for Nanny Payroll I've been using HomeWork Solutions for many years now and was originally referred to them by the nanny agency Trusting Connections. I have had only positive and professional experiences with them. Their website is easy to use and when I've called for help I've reached a real person easily without any frustrating phone trees. Plus their documentation is very clear, it's nice to be able to give my nanny a weekly paystub, and great for tax season. I would recommend them and am grateful to not have the stress of keeping track or performing these calculations myself.

Very poor customer experience Very poor customer experience. I used HomeWork Solutions for our Nanny payments, which the system worked fine. I even recommended them to friends. However, after we quit using the service, a default in the system set up an automatic draft for Nanny services we never used. I was not given warning this draft was happening. Up calling the company for help, I understand the default was set and this was my error. Rather then help me through this, the customer service person was terrible to work with, condescending and I highly do not recommend this organization. I cancelled my account. Customer service is key - if you can't fix something at least don't be a jerk.

Highly recommend. It was a relief to find HomeWork Solutions. Everyone I spoke with was always courteous, professional, available to answer all my questions and helped me set up our account step-by-step, for one employee. They took away the stress that comes with payroll, meeting state requirements and paying all the taxes. I would highly recommend their services.
