GBDon’t bother making an appointment Don’t bother making an appointment. They sign you up for an appt and they either change the time without your consent or they make you wait behind walk-ins and late appointments. I did my taxes online with a representative and after he finished he said he couldn’t help me and I had to go to an office. It has been a huge fiasco getting into an office and getting help. And they don’t even know how to file the form I need. So it’s all for nothing. Ridiculous.

GBLast day of tax filing system and H&R… Last day of tax filing system and H&R Block announces it's filing system is down for maintenance. Didn't bother sharing that when they accepted my payment. How can your system be down on the last day to file return or request extension?

GBIf there was less than 1 rating If there was less than 1 rating, in any case, the short story is that their customer service is not professional. In addition, when you ask to speak with a manager, no one is available, which wasted an hour of my life. They don't honor the price of the pre-order if they don't send instructions or updates if you pre-order.

GBWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER From my amazon review - For HRB's 2023 Tax Software "Deluxe" (What a joke - as in BAD) Federal & State which I cut and pasted for the H&R "Customer Survey" they sent to me today by e-mail: Submitted my return at 4 PM EST 4/15/2024. Was rejected at 5:30 PM. No big deal....right. Called "Customer Support/Help" (in quotation marks for a reason, as in SARCASM) at 9 PM and got a recording, "No one is available to help you. CALL BACK IN TWO HOURS." Huh? - As in 11 PM EST. Called again at 10 PM and selected the "Call Me Back" option. Waited until 11:30 PM - 30 minutes before the IRS Cutoff - and waited for 30 minutes until "Yka" called me at 12 AM ON THE DOT - GREAT, NOW I AM LATE - and she condescendingly admonished me for, apparently, being an idiot (FYI - I am NOT technically illiterate) - Gee, were the thousands of other "customers" whose returns did not get filed due to a "glitch" (again, POORLY WRITTEN SOFTWARE) ALSO morons? I don't think so. I then gave "Yka" a piece of my mind whereupon she hung up on me. I finally got it accepted by the IRS at 1:33 AM EST. LATE. I have worked in call centers and can tell you that ANYONE who talked to a client like that and then hung up on them WOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED ON THE SPOT AND THEN WALKED OUT OF THE BUILDING. I have seen it happen more than once. I did NOT use any profanity but I DID take offense to having to take "guff" - not the word I WANT to use - from someone who took TWO HOURS TO DELIVER AN INSULT AFTER THE DEADLINE HAD PASSED. I'll be GOING BACK TO TURBOTAX. AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK. BUYER BEWARE........YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

GBMy husband and I have gotten our taxes… My husband and I have gotten our taxes done from H&R Block for the last twenty years. Our taxes are more difficult now because of all the things we have in our life. Debbie the accountant that prepared our taxes told us we would owe the government. My husband and I said we will make payment arrangement, as we have before. Debbie had to make some additions to our taxes so once the additions were made Debbie said we could e sign. We agreed. Debbie electronically sent our bank information to the IRS instead of honoring our request for us to make payments. The only reason Debbie had our bank information was because Debbie asked to have the number because we were getting money back from state. Debbie filed every filling electronically and submitted our banking information. So, my husband and my wishes were not honored. Money was taken out of our checking account that we never approved of. I was told by my bank because I called my bank immediately when I saw the transaction on my account. If you know a lawyer, please have them contact me. mhsteelers34aol
