GBGets worse every year I'm well-versed in doing taxes, been doing my own for many ears. My 2023 return was complex, and HRB dropped the ball badly. I found a couple of errors in the forms (ALWAYS review the forms manually!). Worse, when I went to file, numerous errors cropped up - bad programming on their part. After fixing the forms manually (AGAIN!) I went to file and HRB tells me I have no free filings left (bloody hell?!). Activation code is correct. Had to pay them $9.95 to e-file. Never again. I'll gladly pay more for TurboTax next year.

CAUnacceptable Unacceptable company. I submit everything well in advance so that I can finally be contacted at the last moment or everything has to be rushed. And finally, the platform is supposedly down on the last day forcing me to finally give my card number over the phone. Customer service is obviously absent in these cases. I use a company to avoid this kind of inconvenience. Scandalous, flee this company

GBIf I could give negative stars I would If I could give negative stars I would. The service is abysmal for file on your own. The software didn’t compute cases correctly and the reviewer was not able to understand, despite the fact I sent screenshots of the errors. I was charged incorrectly for two state tax returns when I only needed 1. I can’t file the return because it’s incorrect and there is horrendous customer service. I am filing a complaint against the company and reporting this problem. I would never recommend this service.

GBI have been using H&R block software… I have been using H&R block software for many years. I called customer service today because the software automatically include Form 8995 on the 1040 which has nothing to do with me. I don't have any business. I called several numbers as usual I got kicked around a few numbers and finally the person hang up. There is zero customer service from H&R Block

GBI've never had such a bad experience I've never had such an unprofessional person handle my finances. It was almost comical how bad it was. His attitude was alright, he was generally friendly but I had to walk out. After an hour and fifteen minutes we hadn't even started my tax return. He kept inputting information wrong then having to start all over again and kept getting pulled to do other things because of how long it was taking. Simple things like my phone number and social that he had written down, he kept putting in wrong. He was entering my employers address as my own, mispelling common words, and his filing system was a collection of documents scattered on the floor of his work space (some of which he was running over with his computer chair.). I ended up having to walk out, very embarrassing. I've just never had someone that incompetent in charge of something that important and just expect me to be okay with it.
