Worst Business Experience in all my 65… Worst Business Experience in all my 65 years! Rampant incompetence and disorganization! TOTAL LACK of CUSTOMER CONCERN. Loan Officer simply a messenger to try to smooth over all the misinformation. No Process or Procedures. Contacted them in Feb- they missed end of April, May close dates and did not fund until 6/3! Constant paper chase too often find Not Needed! Lots of Equity in my home✅ excellent credit (738)✅ verifiable income✅ 65✅ WORST NIGHTMARE BUSINESS TRANSACTION EVER!!!! At one point wanted two people to swear my deceased wife of Four years never was married to anyone else nor had kids!!!! (I couldn’t make this up!) then decided not necessary. Notary had to come out twice on regular papers because he missed a couple pages!!! Why you ask didn’t I go somewhere else? Because once you start this nightmare you are pretty much committed- you will have already sent them a forest or two of useless paper! Your appraisal and some other docs will expire and you will have to pay Again for these! ***AAG is now part of FINANCE OF AMERICA***** RUN!!!!!! AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!

Jason Chambers - the best in the business Jason Chambers at Fare Reverse is a reverse mortgage specialist who did the impossible! He enabled my elderly mother to stay in her own home and avoid the heartbreak of being placed in a memory care facility. She has 24/7 care which is prohibitively expensive. I really had no place to turn until a mortgage broker gave me Jason's name. During our initial phone conversation, Jason explained in detail what a reverse mortgage is, exactly how it worked and dispelled my fears. He was endlessly patient every step of the way--from loan application to closing. He laid out exactly what I needed to do and was ALWAYS available, by phone or email. Now my mother's home is taking care of her--and she can afford to "age in place." I had been told the Jason Chambers is "the best in the business." And he is. Ten stars.

5 stars Hi, I would like to take a moment to share my experiences with Alexis Torres for my mother reverse mortgage loan. Alexis and his team did a wonderful job to process our loan. He has great knowledge about the loan processes and understood our problems. He provided alternate solutions for us to meet each requirement. The entire process was smooth, and Alexis communicated with us at every step with emails and phone calls. We had terrible experiences with Washington Mutual but thankful that we switched to Finance of America. We definitely will recommend Finance of America to other family members and friends. I am giving 5 stars becasue my agent… I am giving 5 stars becasue my agent Aaron Kerkhof was veryy k owledgeable, professional and attentive. My complaints are these.. 1) I was not given the full amt of LOC which I was first led to believe, 2) i had to pay for a second appraisal...which you were obviously hoping would be lower, but which was considerably higher...so, I had to pay for a 2nd appraisal which I did not order or desire and which was not used for my loan. 3) there was alot of wasted time in underwriting.
