5 stars Hi, I would like to take a moment to share my experiences with Alexis Torres for my mother reverse mortgage loan. Alexis and his team did a wonderful job to process our loan. He has great knowledge about the loan processes and understood our problems. He provided alternate solutions for us to meet each requirement. The entire process was smooth, and Alexis communicated with us at every step with emails and phone calls. We had terrible experiences with Washington Mutual but thankful that we switched to Finance of America. We definitely will recommend Finance of America to other family members and friends. They are totally irresponsible when… They are totally irresponsible when comes to a claim. They hold your money up for months and months and your house will never get fixed.they treat you like you renting rather than a home owner. They have my insurance money that I pay over $3,000 a year for and my house is tore up from a tornado way back in April. I am talking to an attorney. He told me, that company is nothing , but a scam.we plan to sue. They said they will contact me, but as of today they have not tried to reach out to me. Just another one of their lies to make theirs elf look to others that they are good Ole guys. People can see through your phoney lies.

Jason Chambers - the best in the business Jason Chambers at Fare Reverse is a reverse mortgage specialist who did the impossible! He enabled my elderly mother to stay in her own home and avoid the heartbreak of being placed in a memory care facility. She has 24/7 care which is prohibitively expensive. I really had no place to turn until a mortgage broker gave me Jason's name. During our initial phone conversation, Jason explained in detail what a reverse mortgage is, exactly how it worked and dispelled my fears. He was endlessly patient every step of the way--from loan application to closing. He laid out exactly what I needed to do and was ALWAYS available, by phone or email. Now my mother's home is taking care of her--and she can afford to "age in place." I had been told the Jason Chambers is "the best in the business." And he is. Ten stars.

Scott and Crystal and the entire team… Scott and Crystal and the entire team at FAR were amazing! From start to finish they made the process smooth, simple and easy, without question. I have taken out many home loans, however this was by all means the best lender I have ever worked with. I highly recommend them should you need or want a home loan without the hassle and frustration that usually comes with the home loan process. My expectations were met and exceeded!
