My complaints are these.. 1) I was not given the full amt of LOC which I was first led to believe, 2) i had to pay for a second appraisal...which you were obviously hoping would be lower, but which was considerably higher...so, I had to pay for a 2nd appraisal which I did not order or desire and which was not used for my loan. 3) there was alot of wasted time in underwriting. Thank you.

Closing was ez peasy and fund distribution moved quickly from there..one thing I always appreciated was keeping me in the loop,informed, and appreciated...

Our experience was Our experience was, by and large, quite positive. Our first loan officer was very enthusiastic and a bit too chatty, but she did a good job getting things started. She could have explained a few things better which might have saved us a little time in the process, but she left FAR and a new loan officer took over. He picked up the transaction in the middle and did a great job, allowing for timely closing before rate lock expiration. Overall FAR showed us a professional and efficient experience.

Finance of America Reverse is a lesson… Finance of America Reverse is a lesson in who NOT to trust with your future. I have had to deal with your "Loss Draft Department" for MONTHS trying to get them to send back the roofing contractors money from my insurance company for MONTHS!!! Ive spoken with managers who lie about returning calls. I have filed a complaint with the Arizona Attorney Generals Office and will warn everyone to AVOID this corrupt company at all costs.

The Finance of America service has…really saved our lives! The Finance of America service has proved to be the most helpful program for our situation. The stress of health issues combined with financial stress was unbearable. The relief of this program will allow us to live our lives day to day without additional worry while meeting our needs. We now are able to get repairs and replacement fixtures as they come along instead of having to wonder how we would pay for them.
