DKTerrible Service, unwilling to correct mistakes First Tech was send a $97 charge to collections and blocked banking access to my account with $15,000 on the savings account. When asked to reopen it they send me to pay to a collection company and when I did that I was informed that they couldn't open it until next month. Back on call with First Tech, they agreed to open the account if I let them transfer $97 from my savings account, suggesting the I cancel the transaction with the collections company they directed me to. After dropping the call on me. The finally confirmed that they would lift the restrictions, but that it would take 3-6 business days. They were unwilling to escalate or prioritize this in any way. Take your money elsewhere, you never know when they will try to block all access to your accounts and then refuse to re-enable it in a timely fashion. This took over 1 1/2 hours on the phone with First Tech, calling from Denmark at $1.60 per minute - most of it listening to hold music.

GBExcellence In Customer Service I spoke to a member rep on the phone and he was professional, clear, and knowledgeable. He also followed up with me a few days later to make sure everything was implemented as expected for my bump-up CD. Good to know I am in excellent hands at First Tech.

GBTWO THUMBS DOWN I have a truck loan & the customer service is HORRIBLE, wait times are through the roof. Definitely would look elsewhere before signing a loan with this institution.

You also have a real gem in Venessa. I have dealt with her often over the years and have not found a more friendly and helpful person. All your staff, I feel, go out of their way to be helpful. Your business model makes banking easy and this comes from experience dealing with other financial institutes.

GBGreat Service I read my statement and thought there were transactions without a description until it was determined they were payments to the card. The First Tech representative was very helpful and supportive showing me what was done. She also informed us of some great options to increase productivity of our monies.
