I have still got account updates from IB, I have sent many emails but got no replies. Would be interesting to know if I still have account or no.

IB's Educational tools opens the door to a vast domain of learning opportunity. IB's Trader Workstation opens the door to a vast domain of trading opportunity. You can inexpensively trade anything on any market in the world: stocks, options, bonds, futures, currency. It's the best platform out there.

For many years For many years, IBKR's app was a bit behind the times, while their desktop platform was powerful and pretty reliable in spite of looking like something that hadn't been updated since the glory days of DOS. Fast forward to 2024 and whoever is running their mobile app development knows what they're doing. This is a good thing, and I'm glad to be done with TD Ameritrade, whose only interest is in promoting its frustratingly bad Think Or Swim platform, which is quite silly. But IBKR's company's customer service still sucks if something goes wrong. I've been trying to get some account transfer stuff figured out and they are absolutely useless. 100% of the responsibility is on the customer, even when their web portal does a lousy job of explaining what's going on. The phone menu is hard to navigate and they always send you to the wrong place, and then the customer service representatives always sound so tired and weary and sad.
