Quiz? I have actually been a happy customer of Interactive Brokers for over 15 years. Now I wanted to reactivate an old sub-account and can't because I have to complete a quiz. I find this absolutely cheeky and patronising. I'll probably be using a different broker in future. What a pity. Complete overhaul of the trading platform is needed IBKR needs to revise its ancient program, which is far behind current expectations of a customer with current technology. Its program requires a complete overhaul, not just adding some superfluous features. The customer expects to check basic things. For example if a customer makes a mistake of placing a debit order, which should have been a credit order (such a gross and obvious mistake), the system doesn't pick such a simple thing as the customer missed putting minus sign while correcting the displayed info and the order goes through at worst price for a customer. There are more instances of such nature and their review people just attempt to close it instead of focussing on fixing the real problems. Check my tickets on the system.
