GBNot a bad experience Not a bad experience, but not great either. The website can be very confusing, especially to pay an invoice or set up autopay of regular monthly payments due. You have to set up another login to a linked website called "payconnexion" in order to pay items. You can't get to payconnexion directly, you can only get there by logging in to CIT and then clicking the link within that site in the payment area. Really weird, clunky, and old-school in my opinion. And, then, payconnexion is not very clear sometimes on how it is processing a payment. I've overpaid a couple of times because it reads one way but acts another. Hopefully with CIT turning into First Citizens Bank things will improve for the website and payments.

GBToo long for funds to be available I recently opened a high yield savings account with CIT bank. While I love that they are paying a higher percentage, I HATE that it takes SOOOOO long for my money to be available after an electronic transfer; over 1 week. I could totally see taking over 1 week to be available if I did a mobile check deposit, but it takes way too long for an electronic transfer.

CASave your self the frustration and avoid them I’ve had a truly disappointing experience with CIT. Their lack of unresponsiveness left me feeling cheated. After losing a significant amount of money due to unclear fee structures. I’ve realized the importance of choosing a reliable platform. I’ve since switched to{EASY BE} which has proven to be far a far trustworthy and efficient option.

MXgood rates, frustrating games it's true, they have the best rates- But their game is to not raise rates on existing accounts. So you have to pay attention and occasionally close and open a new account. Another game they play is delaying transfers. Using your money for a week or two before they give you access to it. My latest ACH transfer cleared my donor account- CIT is now promising it will be "available" in 11 days- Pretty sketchy. Give yourself two weeks transferring money in or out. Online access can be pretty frustrating convoluted security steps. I spend a lot of time on hold trying to get access, at least a couple times a year.

GBCIT rejected my application for a high rate savings I went on the internet to apply for an account 5 percent interest. I gave mother’s maiden name, SS, etc. i was sent an email saying i was rejected/. No reason, nothing? Unbelievable! Why waste the time filling in an application and receive a msg from CITY, am not acceptable? I have a credit rating of 840. Why is CIT bank doing with my personal info? Checking with the Better Business bureau, how they take personal info, and then send a rejection notice?
