GBThis is why I left This is why i left cit and use “Easy beee” platform now, atleast those are reliable,Been on cit since may, earned some money, community admins have disappeared, app still working, but no withdrawals are working so can only assume this is a scam. If it reappears it will be a miracle

GBSlow Transactions CIT is a decent bank. I think the thing that makes it so frustrating is just the slow pace at which it transfers money from one account to another, especially from outside banks. It takes roughly 2 WEEKS to transfer in a chunk of money from another external, already verified bank account. Unbelievably ridiculously slow. SoFI takes 2 to 3 days! Kind of outweighs the higher interest rate CIT pays… they put a weeklong hold on the money, even after it’s been verified and removed from my other bank account.

GBCIT rejected my application for a high rate savings I went on the internet to apply for an account 5 percent interest. I gave mother’s maiden name, SS, etc. i was sent an email saying i was rejected/. No reason, nothing? Unbelievable! Why waste the time filling in an application and receive a msg from CITY, am not acceptable? I have a credit rating of 840. Why is CIT bank doing with my personal info? Checking with the Better Business bureau, how they take personal info, and then send a rejection notice?

GBToo long for funds to be available I recently opened a high yield savings account with CIT bank. While I love that they are paying a higher percentage, I HATE that it takes SOOOOO long for my money to be available after an electronic transfer; over 1 week. I could totally see taking over 1 week to be available if I did a mobile check deposit, but it takes way too long for an electronic transfer.

GBNot a bad experience Not a bad experience, but not great either. The website can be very confusing, especially to pay an invoice or set up autopay of regular monthly payments due. You have to set up another login to a linked website called "payconnexion" in order to pay items. You can't get to payconnexion directly, you can only get there by logging in to CIT and then clicking the link within that site in the payment area. Really weird, clunky, and old-school in my opinion. And, then, payconnexion is not very clear sometimes on how it is processing a payment. I've overpaid a couple of times because it reads one way but acts another. Hopefully with CIT turning into First Citizens Bank things will improve for the website and payments.
