GBUnethical at best Unethical at best. Used this mortgage company for two homes in the last 10 years and I will never use them again. Applied for a refi and Nila Csapo told me on the phone that I could get the "rate lock fee" refunded to me for any reason. A day later, I told her I was going with another company and they would not refund me the $635. I went to my bank and they sided with the mortgage company. Your lying and sketchy ways lost you another customer and earned you another 1 star review on as many sites as I can find.

GBWhere are the negative rating stars? There are not enough negative stars to rate this sham of a company. They completely screwed up the home loan for my buyer. Instead of enjoying his new home, he's at home recovering from the stress. They are out of their league dealing with mortgages and lending. Overcharging my VA client, switching multiple people during the process, requesting the same documents over and over, not able to explain charges when questioned. It was a nightmare that we couldn't escape. They are already prepping to refinance their home so they can get rid of this company.

GBfailed to order new escrow analysis after new homeowners insurance obtained what went wrong was freedom mortgage allowed me to pay an addition 197$ this month because they failed to order a new escrow analysis after i obtained a new home insurance in March 21,2024 reducing my yr payment to $1300 from $2800, and the old homeowners insurance went up to over 3000$ for the next yr. It was freedom mortgage fault. or did they allow this to happen causing their customer to pay more and hoping they wouldn't catch it?? I see where they have been accused of defrauding customers in the past, am just putting this out there and am wondering what they are going to say about the extra $197 they took out of my account this month.
