California Covid-19 Rent Relief Program 2022 I participated in the California COVID-19 rent relief in 2022 and was finally issued a check after 6 months. unfortunately i went to money mart to cash my rent check. the store manger lied to me and said there would be no hold on the check and about an hour later they told me there would be a 8 day hold and that there was nothing i could do about it. A government check huh. it is impossible to get a hold of live person that works for Money Mart. the bottom line is if you need your rent check cashed avoid Money Mart at all costs they are shady crooks who have horrible customer service and they held my rent money hostage for 8 days so they can collect interest on the money i am assuming. Bad company

I want to give a big thank you for the… I want to give a big thank you for the excellent customer service at the Pinkhook location in Lafayette, La. I received a large check, needing to cash and went to 2 different "competitors" of money mart who wanted me to jump through hoops or wait 10 days because of the amount. They were able to cash it right away(after verification). There was a hiccup with putting half on the card and the nice lady was able to accommodate me & make sure I left with all my money without waiting. Thank you for wonderful service because of yall I dont have to wait another 2 weeks to have my roof repaired.
