GBCompletely unhelpful Received a debit card in the mail that I did not apply for. There is no way to contact customer service other than email. I tried calling several times only to constantly be dealing with an automated menu with unhelpful options and computer automated explanations. There is no phone number on the back of the debit card. This bank seems anything but legit.

GBI've really enjoyed using Varo I've really enjoyed using Varo! Not only do they offer free checking and savings accounts, but they also have just about the highest APY you can get right now. GBVaro has been great Varo has been great! It's a"REAL," Bank that offers a "REAL," Checking/Savings Account, unlike what other consumers believe. Do your research! It offers online banking at it's finest, in my opinion! Give it a try. I believe the fact that you can load money into it most just believe that it's a pre-paid card. It is not. That is just one of the features that is available. 😊

GB$400.72 deposit into wrong account number. UPDATE: Failed to verify contact info and deposited my $400.72 into someone else's account. Giving the run around on getting transaction reversed. Accepted a direct deposit with non matching contact info. I sent them the transaction receipt and time after time they failed to find the mistake. I finally notice the 2nd digit of the account number is wrong. I call to their attention and get nothing. They know which account the money went to yet they won't dpo anything about it. I have been waiting for a direct deposit since 03/12/2024. Since the contact details did not match the bank account number - I'm not sure why the bank accepted the money. Very frustrated and keep getting "It's been escalated and you'll be contacted within 48 hours." It's been a full month now. Once I find out it's on Varo's end that the money isn't there I initially made contact on April 2nd only to be told - They would contact me 2 business days later. So I contact them this morning at the same time I initiated the query only to be told that I needed to wait until end of day. I've been waiting on this money now for a month as of tomorrow. Attempted to call back this evening bc I didn't hear from them only to get a message to call back during business hours. Tomorrow is Friday so if they don't find my money - I'm screwed! I have bills to pay and Varo need to get with it and credit my account.. IDK what I;m gonna do if I don't get funds tomorrow!!

GBThis a sorry ass bank! This a sorry ass bank. DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK WITH YOUR MONEY. I made a mobile deposit of $43.80 then they closed my account for no reason, with no warning and kept my deposit!!
