I send money to Colombia through xoom I send money to Colombia through xoom, not only they discount a lot of money for each "Peso" (300 pesos for each dolar) which makes it very very pricy but also sometimes it takes a long time to send the money or not send it at all, when you call the agents they always blame the "associated Banks". Good luck trying to get the money back fast!!!!

I wanted to transfer more than my… I wanted to transfer more than my limit. I didn't realize there were limits! Xoom took my €900 in a few minutes but it took a week to get my money back. They asked for more ID documents, but what I sent wasn’t acceptable, so I cancelled the transaction. It’s all automatic, even my communication was met with robotic replies. I guess I am too old for this impersonal world. Very disillusioned. I’ll stick with a bank transfer in future. Pay Pal is great but don’t Xoom in to the financial iCloud.

An honest review An honest review: I spent about 3.5 hours on different calls with Xoom today, every person I spoke to was calm and had good service which kept me calm. However, my transaction was cancelled after I sent through bank statements, passport documents and pay slips (I do hope they do not store this data on their servers or share with third parties). On every call I was promised the solution was resolved and every time this was inaccurate as I had to go through verification and compliance x4. Just now I spoke with Ron and he confirmed after passing verification and compliance 3x that I can no longer use their service. The hilarious part is that my occupation is a senior cyber security Head for a global brand but yet still I didn't pass security. I am at a loss for words, if you have other options or means to send money please use them. Avoid Xoom at all costs.

AVOID Attemped to make my 1st transfer today. £100 from a UK card to a UK bank. Firstly I didn't know I had to download an Xoom app (I tried through PayPal initially) , then I uploaded a document as proof. Still waiting, zero response or indication document has been received and what is even happening. Now in panic mode as I can't afford to lose this money! It's shocking with the poor reviews that this company is allowed to operate. Avoid and money transfers via this site!

Sending money to Jamaica Sending money to Jamaica. Lots of extra security checks involving a call to pst timezone. In the end they cancelled the transaction, couldn't verify the recipient. This was a cash collection, they never asked for passport number. Waste of time. Nothing like PayPal standard of service.
