Highly unreliable Highly unreliable: sometimes transfers are made in hours/minutes, sometimes days go by with no action and just template/standard responses from support that the transfer is on schedule and on the way. How a service can be so poorly run is beyond me. Xoom mentions that the transfers are carried out by a "partner", and I have come to assume that means that the actual work has been outsourced to some low-income country with less than skilled staff. If possible, avoid this service.

Slow, unfriendly and buggy It took me 3 days with a lot of frustration and many "verification failures" before I decided to switch to a different money tranfer service. I was on the phone with Xoom 2 times and finally they could only tell me that my account was not authorized to transfer money. After that I tried with Wise and was able to do the same transfer in 30 minutes. Will never use Xoom anymore...

A great service for quick funds… A great service for quick funds transfer I came across! When no payment method worked Xoom helped me to quickly get funds into my account within a few minutes. Good Service !

ONE STAR is TOO much! ONE STAR is TOO much! I tried to send money to Indonesia, first time it went no problem, second time it was cancelled, I was asked to provide SELFIE with my driving licence. I did. Then transaction went OK, after this I tried to transfer money 4 more times, and each time transaction was immediately cancelled. I've sent multiple emails, I've contacted them via form on the website. I tried to ring UK and German customer service, and I only got automated message, there is no option to talk to a person. Paypal won't help me, and XOOM didn't resolve this issue. I'm really annoyed and stressed, as I got someone awaiting the money, and it was hard to explain why sometimes money goes sometimes it doesn't made me look like a liar, who just doesn't want to send the money, cause twice it went, and then it just didn't for NO REASON. I'm absolutely fuming, wasted nearly a week on this.

I wanted to transfer more than my… I wanted to transfer more than my limit. I didn't realize there were limits! Xoom took my €900 in a few minutes but it took a week to get my money back. They asked for more ID documents, but what I sent wasn’t acceptable, so I cancelled the transaction. It’s all automatic, even my communication was met with robotic replies. I guess I am too old for this impersonal world. Very disillusioned. I’ll stick with a bank transfer in future. Pay Pal is great but don’t Xoom in to the financial iCloud.
