Sending money to Jamaica Sending money to Jamaica. Lots of extra security checks involving a call to pst timezone. In the end they cancelled the transaction, couldn't verify the recipient. This was a cash collection, they never asked for passport number. Waste of time. Nothing like PayPal standard of service.

I wanted to transfer more than my… I wanted to transfer more than my limit. I didn't realize there were limits! Xoom took my €900 in a few minutes but it took a week to get my money back. They asked for more ID documents, but what I sent wasn’t acceptable, so I cancelled the transaction. It’s all automatic, even my communication was met with robotic replies. I guess I am too old for this impersonal world. Very disillusioned. I’ll stick with a bank transfer in future. Pay Pal is great but don’t Xoom in to the financial iCloud.

Do not transfer money with Xoom Do not transfer money with Xoom, they will lock it in their system and ask you for a bunch of useless information then give no timeframe on when you will receive it. They are thiefs withholding peoples money without justification.
