GBI have a hard time believing that this… I have a hard time believing that this is a legitimate financial institution. I have an auto loan through them and none of the customer service agents have any concept of how various payment types work or online banking. Very strange, very off-putting. Would definitely NOT be interested in working with Golden 1 in the future.

GBRecently got a car loan thru Golden… Recently got a car loan thru Golden One. However I have not been able to link to my Fidelity accounts in order to make a payment. Called Fidelity who told me the routing number is being rejected. Called Golden One and no one there seems to know anything about how ETF works. Then tried the reverse and link from G1 to Fidelity. Was able to validate the link via test deposits - but when I try to transfer funds it gives an error. They really don't want me to be able to make a payment! Never had this issue dealing with Patelco for my other car loan. My biggest complaint is the lack of support, knowledge at the G1 end.

GBHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I had $1200 taken from my account on 6/21. A joint check was deposited about a day before. I called on 6/22, they explained and told me a copy check was issued and sent to me within 5 business days. Confirmed my shipping address. 5 business days pass by...nothing. called on 6/30, they told me there is a delay in the USPS mail and it could be 7-10 business days confirmed my address again. 10 business days pass by NOTHING. called again on 7/6, got the call escalated to Irene, I asked for the check to be sent to a branch near me. I expressed my frustration to Irene she did not care, finally gave me an extension, and told me to call on Thursday,7/8, so we can 3-way call the bank because it should be there on Friday 7/9. Called no answer, left VM, no callback. Called their CS line, the guy told me the notes said I need to wait until Monday 7/12 and that it should be there no later than that. Monday no call from the branch as I'm desperately waiting. Called today Tuesday 7/13, to find out the branch has the check since Saturday and called me that day?! no, they did not. Why would I not answer or call back as I'm waiting for this $1200 check?? The lady I spoke to did not care as she was "just the messenger". So extremely upset over this situation. This company could care less

GBUnfortunately I have banked here for 8 years Unfortunately I have banked here for 8 years too long. I have a credit card dispute purchase that has involved 11 phone calls to the call center and one in person visit. All I've gotten was the run around and can't pay my rent because this greedy company wants to keep my $710.48 for a vacation package through Booking.com that had no reservation. They most certainly do not have their customers best interest. Do business elsewhere.

GBVery disappointing Very disappointing. Customer service is not very helpful and in fact gave me the wrong information at a crucial point. Extremely poor overall clarity/disclosure in connection with our auto loan. We will not be using Golden1 for anything in the future. There are plenty of other options out there with the same products and better (and accurate) customer support.
