Golden 1 customer service Literally called bc my card was declined and nobody informed me that my card was declined or CLOSED my account was closed because of a 40$- fee i had to pay off which was fine but still what the f--k? Nobody told me shi so when i called this old man on the phone was being rude and pathetic i didn't like his adittude one bit he wasn't helpful at all. The worse came to worse he lied and said i can open up reopen my account but then after i ask to reclarify so i can make sure it is still the right info that i need.. and i can still get the help that i NEED he wants to say oh no you can't reopen ur bank u have to go in and get a new card Golden 1 please get better CS!

I have a checking account and a loan… I have a checking account and a loan with Golden1. The loan is set up for auto payment from my checking account. The first payment was scheduled for August but they took the money for the loan in July and when they did that it caused an over draft fee. Anything a bank can do to rip you off they will do it just like your government.

The worst for applying ffor a home… The worst for applying ffor a home loan. Don't waste your time with these guys, go to a real bank. An average mortgage company takes 30 days or less, they couldn't get it done in 45. That caused all kinds of problems with our home purchase. Waste of time.

Great alternative to BoA Great, but could be better. I really like the G1, is far better than BoA, but some fees like overdraft are kind lame, compared to Chime and Yotta

I have a hard time believing that this… I have a hard time believing that this is a legitimate financial institution. I have an auto loan through them and none of the customer service agents have any concept of how various payment types work or online banking. Very strange, very off-putting. Would definitely NOT be interested in working with Golden 1 in the future.
