The Difference Respect Makes I am in financial difficulty and am generally avoiding bill collectors out of fear. Derek talked to me like a human with worth in everything he said, and it motivated me to not only talk to him but to set up a payment arrangement on an old bill. This bill jumped to the top of the list of what I'm taking care of simply because of the respect Derek showed me on the call which made me want to work with him even though it will be very difficult financially. Great service for a bad situation! I was pretty upset hearing about another debt that my ex wife had opened in my name. I did the normal please explain before I give any information and the gentleman I spoke with was totally understanding of my situation. He went out of his way to give me options as well as letting me know how this would affect my credit. I understand the frustration of being a debt collector and the amount of people that absolutely give these guys a hard time, but at the end of the day the gentleman I spoke to was calm and definitely listened to what I had to say.
