They quickly responded and shut down my account for safety. I can only imagine what would have happened if Altra had not caught it! You pay a fee to pay a loan. Tried making a payment on a loan over the phone and there's a $10 service charge... Went online to try and make an account and the page wouldn't load, so ended up paying the $10 fee to pay as a "guest". Making your customers pay a fee just to PAY their loan. Smart business decision..

Helpful staff! I do most of my banking online. There have been several times when I needed help from one of the staff to complete a more complex banking issue. In each of those cases, I've found whoever I've dealt with to be very competent and very helpful to achieve my goal. That personal touch contrasts with the impersonal hands-off approach from national banks

Convenience. Have gotten a number of big loans through Altra federal credit Union in Tyler and Bank there. Everything has always went smooth and never had to even go in the door. Now thats convenience.
