GBI would highly recommend Healthy Paws… I would highly recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance for every pet owner. Healthy Paws have saved me so much money over the past 5 and a half years. I have three cats that have had numerous claims over this period of time. First of all I highly suggest getting pet insurance the same day you bring a pet into your home. Healthy Paws is very responsive and very quick to reimburse directly into your bank account. They make it so easy to submit a claim and the explanation of benefits are very understandable. Again I highly recommend healthy paws pet insurance. Thank you Healthy Paws.

GBCannot Recommend The service is fine and the people are knowledgeable and helpful. The problem is the cost. I have just been told that my premium for one older pet is going from $246 to $423 per month for 70% coverage. Healthy Paws does not cover doctor exams, routine care and preexisting conditions. My recommendation is to look elsewhere. I have also done some research and it appears that Healthy Paws owns some review sites!

GBWorth every penny We appreciate Healthy Paws for helping us keep our furry family members feeling their best! When we bring a new fur baby into the family, we sign them up for Healthy Paws immediately. In the case of our one-year-old cat, it proved to be lifesaving. She developed gingivostomatitis and required a full-mouth extraction. Thanks to our plan with Healthy Paws, 90% of that surgical procedure was covered, and our girl is feeling better and is now back to her playful, naughty self!

GBDietary indiscretions and hip dysplasia, all covered Healthy Paws has been insuring my dog since he was a puppy. While the premiums are not cheap, their coverage has seen him through a number of "dietary indiscretions" and an early diagnosis and gradual decline of hip dysplasia. They have never fought me on a claim and the assurance of knowing they are there has kept us going through all the ups and downs. Veterinary care has changed so much in my lifetime, and the costs associated with it have grown staggeringly. I've spent enough time in vet's offices to know I never want to be that person in tears, choosing between a life-saving procedure for their pet and family essentials. Consider pet insurance a necessary part of owing a pet, no different than food and toys. Buying insurance is "buying a good night's sleep." Do yourself a favor, and budget in a policy for your pet when he or she is young. You won't regret it.

GBAbsolutely horrendous customer support Absolutely horrendous customer support. They recently denied two claims I filed after my two dogs required emergency vet visits, and they said ‘anything done by a vet isn’t covered.’ Where else would I take my dogs? What other medical expenses would I incur OUTSIDE of a veterinary clinic? I’ve been trying to get a hold of someone, anyone at customer service to explain to me exactly what is covered and why I’m paying over $200 a month for 3 dogs if emergency care isn’t covered. But nobody is responding via email or phone. I’m going to cancel my policy immediately. If you’re considering healthy paws, I would very much recommend looking elsewhere.
