Extremely happy with the service… Extremely happy with the service provided by Health Paws Insurance!! They have always been very quick to process our claims. Most recently, our dog's surgery had a claim and funds processed within 48 hours. The business operations seem solid, and the team reached out to check in on my dog after surgery. Highly recommend!

Excellent coverage, responsive and caring customer service We have been Healthy Paws customers since we got our dog back in 2020. We knew we wanted pet insurance all along because it takes the financial question out of big medical decisions when your pup needs medical care, and reduces financial risk to our family so we know we can take care of our pup no matter what life throws at us. We shopped around looking at a bunch of different insurance companies, and eventually settled on Healthy Paws because the coverage is great and the cost is competitive. After being customers for four years and using our insurance to file claims for a few health issues our pet has been affected by, we could not be happier Healthy Paws customers. Submitting a claim is SO EASY, just submit the itemized invoice with no written explanation required, and they process the claim quickly. We take our checks in the mail, but direct deposit is an option as well if you want reimbursement more quickly. Customer service has been responsive and kind whenever we've needed it. We had one claim that was borderline regarding whether we were covered or not, and while it was initially rejected even the appeal process was convenient and Healthy Paws customer support has been excellent throughout. We would highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone.

Absolutely horrendous customer support Absolutely horrendous customer support. They recently denied two claims I filed after my two dogs required emergency vet visits, and they said ‘anything done by a vet isn’t covered.’ Where else would I take my dogs? What other medical expenses would I incur OUTSIDE of a veterinary clinic? I’ve been trying to get a hold of someone, anyone at customer service to explain to me exactly what is covered and why I’m paying over $200 a month for 3 dogs if emergency care isn’t covered. But nobody is responding via email or phone. I’m going to cancel my policy immediately. If you’re considering healthy paws, I would very much recommend looking elsewhere.

Healthy Paws for the win! When our three-year-old healthy cat suddenly had a major medical emergency, we didn’t think twice about getting her the care she needed. We quickly wracked up about $7,500 in vet bills, seeing a specialist and doing multiple tests. We had never submitted an insurance claim for a pet before, and we were nervous. Thank goodness we chose Healthy Paws to cover her when she was still a kitten! They reimbursed us for everything we expected, given the plan we chose. I can’t thank Healthy Paws enough for how easy they made the process and how quickly they processed our claims! It was a relief to know we wouldn’t have to shoulder the financial burden alone, and we were able to focus on helping our kitty recover. Thankfully, she is doing much better now and we are grateful to have our family member back to her sweet, playful self.
