GBWill not be using their services any longer We had to cancel our trip because our travel companion got sick and tested positive for COVID-19 the day we were flying out. They could not get a medical professional to certify that until the next day, although they took a picture of the at home test with date and time. When we submitted the claim all the information was there, RoamRight asked us to get a specific form filled by the doctor, then more information and then more signatures. Our claim was denied because the date the medical professional saw our friend was one day after we had to cancel. RoamRight had the dates from the beginning, so they could have just told us that upfront, instead of having our friend going back and forth and spending time out of work go the additional paperwork. We had bought all our travel insurance with RoamRight, but now we will not be using them any longer.

GBWe had to use Roam Right twice over the… We had to use Roam Right twice over the years, first claim was easily handled, second was more difficult but appreciate that payment was made in both case. Am disappointed that now I am 76 years old I can no longer purchase your policy, had to go to another carreir.

She even mentioned I could also fax my documents as well which was helpful. She was very polite and courteous

GBMy experience TODAY was great My experience TODAY was great, but I want to talk about my trip that was delayed. My sister and I planned a trip to Paris. I have always wanted to go to Paris ever since I had French classes in high school.(HS graduation was 1977!)My time in Paris was for 3 days only. Because of the delay, I missed an entire day—24 hours! Although my sister paid the expenses, I feel cheated out of the experience I would have had had I arrived on time. Sure, I arrived safely to Paris, but the sights and shopping and activities I planned were cut short. And to add insult to injury, my checked bag arrived 2 days late! All the clothing I purchased to look fashionable in Paris was stuck in Newark NJ! On my person, I had a change of underwear and zero toiletries. Now despite my troubles, I didn’t complain—I didn’t want to spoil my sister’s trip. I kept thinking, “Thank God I did the insurance! The insurance will reimburse me for my disappointments and my inconvenience.” Well, how upsetting to learn the insurance does not cover ANY of that. 😢😞 Now I’m wondering why I got the insurance in the first place.😔 A trip that I’ve been dreaming of fell short in actuality. Although I feel I should be compensated in some fashion, I appreciate the opportunity to tell you how I feel. Thanks
