USFirst time with Aon but won't be last I have always purchased travel insurance but never had to actually use it until our last trip. My husband woke up the morning we were supposed to leave with a bad case of Covid. I canceled our cruise with the cruiseline that morning and called the insurance company immediately and got my paperwork started. We had our claim reviewed, approved and paid out very quickly!

USAON is Great Recently, due to a medical problem, I had to cancel a cruise. Luckily we had AON insurance. Everything I needed to file a claim was online. I filed on a Monday and it was accepted Tuesday. Payment was in the bank a week later. It couldn’t have been easier.

USLack of Help from AON AON and Royal Caribbean should send a copy of the specifics of the insurance. My 16 year old grandson could not go on the trip because he had just got a job. He cancelled 3 weeks before the trip. I filed on the insurance on the boat with the help of an employee of the Royal Caribbean. There was back and forth communication, then nothing. I was even told they didn’t have my reference number. How do you lose that? I am very disappointed with your service and lack of communication.

USMedical emergency while traveling When you buy travel insurance it should cover what is stated. It shouldn’t be a long, drawn out process. Having to re-submit every few days with more information, or expanding on the information already given should not be part of the process. After weeks of this process when they decide to reimburse you for your expenses, it doesn’t let you submit how you want your reimbursement. They just send a check in the end. I may or may not add this insurance to any further trips.

USGreat results! First time any travel insurance claim was approved for us. Others were always finding loopholes to get out of paying. Not Aon! We will be using them for all our travel insurance needs from now on.
