GBYour representative Your representative, Dan Madsen, was very efficient and fast on following up on my claim. This was the first time I had insurance on my bike and wondered all along about if I ever have a claim, how well it was going to be handled. Well, it was handled so well that I am recommending Velosurance to all my cyclist friends! Once I receive my new bike, I will be adding Velosurance insurance to it. Thanks to Dan and Velosurance for successfully taking care of my claim on a timely matter.

GBAttempted to turn off auto renew on my… Attempted to turn off auto renew on my policy by using the account management on the website. Upon filing a claim later that year I was told that my policy was actually "Canceled" and no longer active. I inquired on why I hadn't received a prorated refund then, for my prepaid policy, and was told that no refunds are allowed. I can't figure out why anyone would want this feature, but essentially if you click a button on the website you will lose all your coverage and this company keeps all of your money.

GBVelosurance / Markel has not processed… EDIT: Thank you to the person who responded for perfectly illustrating what dealing with Velosurance is like. Zero concern or respect for the customer. --- Velosurance / Markel has not processed policy cancellation despite multiple requests. Additionally, they've continued to bill me after confirming that my policy cancellation was processed. Additionally, they're billing me extra for a minimum premium that I believe in good faith was satisfied much earlier.

GBGreat bike insurance I had my e-bike stolen 2 months after purchasing it. The claim process was straightforward and their customer service was phenomenal. I also love how easy it is to manage an account with all the information on their online portal. Highly recommended for bike owners!

GBUnbelievably Good Bought an insurance policy on a new e-bike on a Sunday. I couldn't tell you why I chose to do that, I've never had a bike stolen or crashed, and I tend to take my chances on things just working out. But this time I didn't. Good thing, too, because someone stole it two days later on the following Wednesday. The claim was accepted and a check issued on Thursday. I was expecting some pushback on the process, but there was none. I sent in a photo of the bike and the cut lock, a copy of the police report and a signed statement, and that was it. I will never again own a bike without having it covered by Velosurance.
