Cyclist happy with claims process I was extremely satisfied when I had to file a claim for an accident that damaged my bike frame. After submitting the bike shops report and estimate, a check arrived in the mail within a few days. I also appreciate having roadside service available. They clearly are an honest and reputable company.

This was the first time I had insurance on my bike and wondered all along about if I ever have a claim, how well it was going to be handled. Well, it was handled so well that I am recommending Velosurance to all my cyclist friends! Once I receive my new bike, I will be adding Velosurance insurance to it. Unbelievably Good Bought an insurance policy on a new e-bike on a Sunday. I couldn't tell you why I chose to do that, I've never had a bike stolen or crashed, and I tend to take my chances on things just working out. But this time I didn't. Good thing, too, because someone stole it two days later on the following Wednesday. The claim was accepted and a check issued on Thursday. I was expecting some pushback on the process, but there was none. I sent in a photo of the bike and the cut lock, a copy of the police report and a signed statement, and that was it. I will never again own a bike without having it covered by Velosurance.

Attempted to turn off auto renew on my… Attempted to turn off auto renew on my policy by using the account management on the website. Upon filing a claim later that year I was told that my policy was actually "Canceled" and no longer active. I inquired on why I hadn't received a prorated refund then, for my prepaid policy, and was told that no refunds are allowed. I can't figure out why anyone would want this feature, but essentially if you click a button on the website you will lose all your coverage and this company keeps all of your money.

Velosurance - Protect your bikes I have had my bikes insured through Velosurance for 4 years. Recently had a damage claim on a mountain bike. Could not be more pleased with the process and the support I received. Would recommend this company for anyone who has a substantial investment in their bikes.
