GBNo Refund After Cancelling Policy I cancelled my policy a month ago and have still not received a refund. When asked about the refund I was given a date that it would be mailed out. After waiting over two weeks after that they then said that the check might be lost. I contacted Markel (who actually handles the policy and not Velosurance) because that seemed unlikely and they informed me that because of how the cancellation was processed that no refund was ever generated or check mailed out. Markel is investigating now. Upon letting Velosurance know they said they did everything correct but would check again but I do not have much confidence in them because of the initial incorrect information. Also, in this process their representatives said I would receive a call back which never occurred only to discover an email in its place that said they fulfilled their responsibilities and the refund is on Markel. The policy was purchased from Velosurance so I expected them to handle it without the runaround.

GBRun by complete a-holes. This company sends me constant unsolicited spam emails, when I finally told them to f*** off, someone named Dave Williams emails me pretending to be so offended by my language. Within minutes, I'm getting hit with spam calls/emails from places I've never seen before. Fairly certain this Dave Williams submitted my info to spammy web forms to "get back at me" for having the gall to tell them to stop emailing me. Total d-bags Edit: I stand by my original comments.

GBVelosurance - Two claims - both paid - happy client In three years I made two Velosurance claims and both were paid within a week and for exactly the cost of repair to my bike. I ride an $8k bike and having insurance helps me sleep better at night knowing that this insurance will reimburse me if someone broke into my garage and stole my bike. Highly recomend you don't ride a high value bike without insurance..

GBBike insurance with Velosurance I have insured my bikes with Velosurance for 10 years and had to make two claims. Once I damaged my wheels on vacation, the second I was hospitalized after a massive crash. They were incredibly responsive both times, and made a stressful time incredibly easy. I wish all insurance in my life were like this.

GBAttempted to turn off auto renew on my… Attempted to turn off auto renew on my policy by using the account management on the website. Upon filing a claim later that year I was told that my policy was actually "Canceled" and no longer active. I inquired on why I hadn't received a prorated refund then, for my prepaid policy, and was told that no refunds are allowed. I can't figure out why anyone would want this feature, but essentially if you click a button on the website you will lose all your coverage and this company keeps all of your money.
