USAssurity's Reply Was Pointless I left a review here to help others not waste their money with Assurity. I did eventually receive a reply saying to contact Jon at 800-869-0355 ext. 4400, but he doesn't answer his phone. I tried a few times. He eventually left me a message that said to contact customer connections at ext. 4279 and anyone there should be able to help me. I wasn't asking for help. I leave reviews to help others. This company denied my son's life insurance claim. I just hope others don't fall for Assurity's false sense of security.

GBDO NOT TAKE OUT REDUNDANCY COVER I was made redundant in August after paying into this policy for numerous years they wanted everything even going back to my mortgage when I took the policy out in 2014. Luckily I still had a bit of paperwork and managed to get some statements from the building society. Every month it’s a hard to get the payment and then I found a job after 2 months and they told me I owed them money for another month's premium. Save your money this policy is not worth it.

USGreat customer service I have had a great experience with Assurity. Hands down the most reasonable pricing for an individual short term disability policy. Online portal is very user friendly. Customer service has been top notch. Always very prompt responses. I had one disability claim and payout was quick and the whole process was seamless. My new employer offers disability benefits. Otherwise, would certainly continue with Assurity. Highly recommend!

USRUN, fast RUN. Seriously shady and dishonest practices. Put your money into a bank account instead of trusting in a company that posts pictures playing golf while dragging out processing your claim way past legal timeliness. Do not EVER take out a critical illness policy because when they can't deny your claim, they will try and cancel your policy based on narratives they create from your medical records.

USTotal run around on a claim! You pay they don't! Form after form, I asked assurity claims to confirm emails ,faxed and snail mail ( did all three on requested forms) no confirmation of receiving. Said M.D.'s did'nt respond at Mayo Clinic .Mayo assured they had .Never had such a runaround in my life for an insurance claim. My other healthcare insurance paid in the first week! Horrible experience! You pay they don't! I will revise if I get paid by assurity...might be dead before it happens!
