GBI lost my job during COVID and needed… I lost my job during COVID and needed an advise how to restructure my expenses, including the life insurance premium. The customer services did not get me help I needed. My questions were not answered. I ended up by taking a wrong decision that I regret till now. Our broker was out of touch, did not response to our emails neither phone calls for several weeks.

GBI applied for a $25K whole life… I applied for a $25K whole life coverage but was forced to bring it down to $10K because I was tabled. I had diabetes after 50 years old and had been in control with diet, exercise and some medications. In all other policies I have with other companies, I was always rated standard. I was disappointed with the rating without clear explanation.

GBTotal run around on a claim! You pay they don't! Form after form, I asked assurity claims to confirm emails ,faxed and snail mail ( did all three on requested forms) no confirmation of receiving. Said M.D.'s did'nt respond at Mayo Clinic .Mayo assured they had .Never had such a runaround in my life for an insurance claim. My other healthcare insurance paid in the first week! Horrible experience! You pay they don't! I will revise if I get paid by assurity...might be dead before it happens!
