Thank you I was thinking of adding insurance felt a little money might me needed in case I was gone in this times where everything is sky rocketing. I for my self wasn't thinking I needed because I'm veteran and got my va to cover funeral cost and medical but then I thought why not just a little extra money would help since I got rid of my 401 and stopped paying for the insurance that the military offers as well. Hopefully I can keep this up.

i've never had any problems with… i've never had any problems with Assurity. Never even needed to contact them. Premiums are paid automatically every month so there are no timing concerns. It has my highest recommendation.

RUN, fast RUN. Seriously shady and dishonest practices. Put your money into a bank account instead of trusting in a company that posts pictures playing golf while dragging out processing your claim way past legal timeliness. Do not EVER take out a critical illness policy because when they can't deny your claim, they will try and cancel your policy based on narratives they create from your medical records.

DO NOT TAKE OUT REDUNDANCY COVER I was made redundant in August after paying into this policy for numerous years they wanted everything even going back to my mortgage when I took the policy out in 2014. Luckily I still had a bit of paperwork and managed to get some statements from the building society. Every month it’s a hard to get the payment and then I found a job after 2 months and they told me I owed them money for another month's premium. Save your money this policy is not worth it.

Great customer service I have had a great experience with Assurity. Hands down the most reasonable pricing for an individual short term disability policy. Online portal is very user friendly. Customer service has been top notch. Always very prompt responses. I had one disability claim and payout was quick and the whole process was seamless. My new employer offers disability benefits. Otherwise, would certainly continue with Assurity. Highly recommend!
