GBBelieve the 1-Star reviews. This company is a scam An opportunity for this home warranty was offered in our settlement on our new house in Summer 2023 so we accepted it after reviewing its initial website and plan offerings to offer a little peace of mind for items for our house that was built in 1946. Realizing now I should have done a little more homework on the company. 3 incidents had me look into possibly requesting service these past 10 months: 1) a Kitchen sink plumbing drain issue discovered they don't do service requests on weekends and as time was of the essence had to hire my own plumber - STRIKE ONE 2) Refrigerator Icemaker line developed a leak and learned that wasn't covered by my plan and you cannot add Refrigerator coverage or change your plan during your 1 year term. You can only change your plan or coverage at the 12-month mark - STRIKE TWO. 3) Water heater installed in 2016 - The cold line inlet has developed a tiny leak. Reviewed my plan thoroughly to confirm that this is covered under my plan. I filed a service request and paid the $95 fee on Monday 4/8/2024. Super did not get back to me until the next day and could not schedule a plumber for an active leaking pipe until 2 days later. STRIKE #3 4/10/2024 Plumber comes out and sees the problem immediately and states it is an easy fix and the inlet pipe and dipping tube needs to be replaced. States will probably return on Friday 4/12/2024 to finish repair. Plumber is nice guy and states that to mitigate the leak while awaiting his return to just turn off the cold water feed to the water heater when we dont need hot water. 4/11/2024 Super App updates activity that Service report has been submitted and it is awaiting review and to give 1-2 business days due to supply chain issues (What??). I hear nothing from plumber or SUPER. Seems Plumber cant communicate with you without Super Approval. I submit a note via the app regarding the claim review. Not sure it is read by anyone as there is no confirmation of its receipt via email or in app. 4/15/2024 I call into Super manually (they make finding the direct # difficult to find on the website) as the app only gives the option to send a note regarding current claims. Agent says will elevate it and have the agent covering the claim approval to email or contact me that day. I receive no phone call or email . Strike # 4 4/17/2024 I have to call into Super again as I still have heard nothing with no change in the activity on the app. They state the claim is still under review and that they will elevate this and add additional line to the report that the line is an active leak. Says they will contact me again. I contact the Plumber directly to which they state that they are waiting on SUPER to schedule to finish the repair. Strike # 5. Suffice to say for a simple plumbing repair claim (NOT even a claim for a new water heater...just a simple replacement of a portion of the inlet pipe) much less an ACTIVE leak is taking over 10+ days to be completed is completely unacceptable. I will be cancelling my plan to save a miniscule amount of money vs the 10 months of wasted payments. I will also be filing a chargeback with my credit card if service is not completed soon as I have not received proper service.

GBTHE WORST COMPANY EVER! RUN RUN RUN! This is probably the worst insurance/warranty company. When I filed a claim for a toilet clogging, after the plumber came to service my toilet and concluded that it needs to be replaced. The claim service person at Super called me and told me that it is not covered by the plan due to a lack of maintenance. I asked him that what maintenance I should have done for the toilet not to be clogged. He said sorry it wasn't apart of the coverage plan. And I spent 30 minutes on the phone with him to hear him repeating one message "it is not included in the coverage plan" despite my efforts trying to understand what I should have done differently for the issue not to incur. After talking for 30 minutes on the phone with him, I asked to speak to his manager, he disclosed to me that the call had been recording. He called me to speak with me for 30+ minutes on a recorded line without disclosing the information. When I told him that I understood that California is a 2-party consent state, ie. he had to disclose to me if he was recording the phone conversation; otherwise it is illegal. He said that he doesn't know about that and referred me to his legal department. Eventually, he told me that his manager, with the name of Alicia, will call me back in the next 5 business days. On the 6th business day, his manager, Alicia, called me and left me with a voicemail. I called back but couldnt reach her immediately. I spoke to another person and he told me that he would have Alicia call me back. It has been 7 business days and I still don't have any call back from Alicia. This is how Super is handling their business. They are very happy to collect your monthly payment. But when there is an issue, all they can say is "It is not in the coverage plan" and they conduct business illegally by recording your calls without disclosing it to you. How can anyone trust such a company???

GBOur refrigerator started malfunctioning… Our refrigerator started malfunctioning a month ago. We contacted Super and they sent a local provider. They tried to fix it several times, taking a few days between each visit and with no success. Today, a month and about 5 visits later we still have no refrigerator. The service provider was very rude and said they were not able to fix it. We contacted Super several times and tried to elevate the issue but we keep hearing there are no Managers we can talk to. Now they say we need a second opinion before they can pay for a new fridge. Bottom line, it all seems like a big scam.

GBThe WORST Home Warranty Company Ever I filed a warranty claim on March 27, 2024 with an urgent request for my refrigerator since it was leaking on my kitchen floor and blowing warm air into the cavity. Super ignored my request and waited three days to send the first vendor who could not repair it due to the requirement of a part. Super then stated they would send a second vendor the next day due to the urgency of my repair request. The second vendor never called and never showed up. Two weeks later I've gotten nothing but a runaround and have lost over $4k between food, the deductible, additional cost for a KitchenAid specialist to diagnose, meal delivery daily, and the cost of the warranty itself. They continue to fail to honor the warranty so I am faced with either: buying a new refrigerator that can be here next day at $2,500 OR waiting two additional weeks for KitchenAid to repair at an additional $1,800 between daily meal deliveries and the cost to repair/parts. Super Home Warranty is filled with experts who are ineptbut highly skilled at creating incredible amounts of stress for home owners. By the way, I'm a real estate broker - don't think for one second that I won't share what they've done. I'll be sure to articulate to ever realtor out there the extraordinary losses I have experienced over the last two weeks and anticipated losses in the coming two weeks. By the way - there is no way to get someone on the line that can actually DO ANYTHING with Super. I am beyond disgusted.

GBRequesting service for my locks to be… Requesting service for my locks to be rekeyed at my home was so easy and such a smoothe process. I look forward to using the other services offered!
