GBI would prefer not to have the company … I would prefer not to have the company that was sent out They seem to have problems with communication between the office and service people. There was confusion about appointment times and failed to call 30 minutes ahead as requested. Also, despite the fact that I mailed the receipt for the dishwasher some time ago, I haven't received the check for reimbursement.

GBHome Maintenance & Repair Prior to two years ago, I didn't really believe in home warranty companies. I maintain & repair my own stuff and enjoy the process. When I bought another home last year. having a company was a requirement. So I did my research, and based on reviews and no deductible, I choose Complete Appliance Protection. Used them 3x last year, and it worked out so well that I renewed this year, including washer/dryer and refrigerator. Good thing, because my dryer went out a month later, called them up and they sent a reputable company that I had used last year. Since I'm busy with a new job, it was nice to have it fixed for me and now it was done professionally. I recommend CAP.

GBBad company to deal with. Hoops and $1000 aggregate limits Unfortunately, they are not a good company to work with. More hoops to jump through than a circus. I got their premium package for $900, however only covers an aggregate maximum of $1000 on most things. If they decide you need a new appliance only covers a few hundred dollars. I should have read the fine print before signing up. I had an approved claim for $320 for someone to look at a leak I had, they provided an estimate to repair it which was going to cost $2200, and they said they would only cover $680 as I would hit the $1000 maximum reimbursement. They wanted me to do a bunch of work to get the estimate in their format with their information. Too many hoops, not worth the premium. I canceled, and they are prorating and deducting the $320. Not a good way to run a business.
